Had braces for my first visit, and the hygienist here in Wheaton had no trouble cleaning around them at all. She gave me tons of good tips on brushing habits too. Honestly, it was the least pain I've ever felt during a cleaning. Overall a really friendly experience, and they got me scheduled super quick. Great orthodontist care!

I have had a wonderful experience at Bauer. I had a good amount of anxiety due to other health concerns and the entire team made my experience so easy. I suffer from tinnitus which makes the thought of going to the dentist- especially for restorative work- overwhelming. Francine was my dental hygienist for my first visit. She was so incredibly kind and patient and truly made feel so at ease. Veronika was the dental assistant for my fillings and she was also wonderful. Dr. Bauer used the solea laser for my fillings. It was a truly quick and painless process. I highly recommend for anyone with sensitive ears or hearing issues. Like his entire team, Dr. Bauer is kind, attentive, and compassionate. I don’t dread going to the dentist anymore.
Update: my daughter had a cavity filled today and the hygienist was wonderful! Very cheerful and knowledgeable and explained everything that was going to happen in the appointment to ease my daughter’s fears. There were multiple choices for scents for the nitrous oxide, she ended up choosing strawberry. They used numbing gel prior to the Novocain and gave it ample time for it to work. I love this office and its atmosphere!
I cannot say enough good things about Bauer & Bauer! I love this place for adult and pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. My husband, 2 kids and I have been coming here for a few years and have never had a bad experience. Both kids currently have braces and the staff are upbeat and gentle during their adjustments. Every single person I have interacted with here has been amazing! They know their stuff, use updated technology, and provide excellent information on treatments. I tell all my friends to come here and you should too!
My first visit to Bauer Dentistry was amazing! I loved seeing my name on the Welcome Board! All of the staff were friendly, engaging me in conversation. Ali was extremely professional and friendly, explaining every step of the process as well as making sure I was comfortable during the cleaning and checkup. Dr. Bauer was also friendly, providing an honest assessment of my dental condition and the best treatment plan. The environment was relaxing, with calm music in the background and beautiful artwork.
Literally the best experience every time. They are amazing with my kids and make everyone feel so comfortable. I was shocked they got my 4 year old to actually open his mouth and allow a full cleaning and x rays!! From the moment we arrive until the moment we leave, every person there is helpful and kind. Customer service is top notch.

We love coming to the dentist at Bauer! Everyone is so welcoming and kind and we really feel taken care of. They’re extremely kid friendly down to the smallest detail including the type of bib and sunglasses they have the kids wear. They make the experience as not-scary as possible, and of course the prizes at the end are always a hit!

Bauer is so great in Wheaton, IL. Been taking my kids here for years, and even after our original dentist left, we've stuck with Dr. Mark and Dr. Bauer for ortho. The rest of the staff is awesome too—they treat my kids so well, always smiling, with prizes and cool fish. Never had tears or issues, knock on wood! Thanks!
