They’re great at what they do and they’re really kind. They have good color choices for braces and styles for retainers! My teeth are really straight! I was shy at first but then I noticed that they’re really nice and kind people. And by the way, this is coming from a shy 11 year old. They also have fun prizes at the front desk such as tickets to the movies and tickets to Sea World depending on when you go.

I am 64 and FINALLYmade the decision to have braces! After a 2 year search in multiple states, I chose Carroll and Sutton Orthodontics. I rarely share my experience in review but I feel it's important to let other adults know that if they are considering teeth straightening, let me cut your search short.

The office is clean, the front desk staff is friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. The orthodontic assistants who do much of the work are gentle, very knowledgeable, think on their own and consult with the doctor and other staff if there are any concerns.
It has truly been a pleasure being a patient at Carroll snd Sutton and in a mere 4 weeks, my teeth have had a noticeable shift already. I am truly grateful for my new smile ...Braces and all!

Overall, would not recommend. Find another Ortho team who cares. We went to them in a pinch to secure our 9-year old’s palate expander which had fallen out. While we were very grateful they got us in quickly, it took multiple appointments as they failed with their first attempt to successfully glue it back to his molars (the expander fell out the same day as their first attempt!). In our opinion, they let an assistant do what the Ortho should have done and they rushed it. They were not apologetic and acted like it was our fault it fell out. For both appointments we had to wait 25-30 minutes to be seen, which was confusing as in both instances there were few patients and many hygienists or assistants standing around. Much of the staff in the office lacks any kind of bedside manner and it’s obvious they don’t see many children, as the Ortho (Dr Sutton) and staff treated him like a second class citizen just because he’s a kid. Lastly, the office itself is not impressive and they use many fragrances. We had to change clothes and take showers after our visit due to the lingering fragrance. We regret visiting this office and encourage any reader of this review to consider other options. Find an Orthodontist who cares.

We love Carroll and Sutton’s office! We have been coming here for years. My first son had to have two sets of braces, they made the process enjoyable! When we first came he was in 4th grade and had some anxiety with dentist office. They made him feel so comfortable. He is now in high school and her teeth are beautiful. We are now starting the process with my other son. High recommend!

This is such a great place! First of all when you walk in you get greeted by the front desk ladies who are so kind. Usually there is a guessing game too! The place is so well decorated and cozy. The staff that work on your teeth before the orthodontist are so kind and professional. Dr. Sutton is a great person and seems to be really passionate about his job and cares about his patients!

Both of my girls have gotten their braces on here. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The office is very clean. We've been to the North Port location and Venice. We’ve always seen Dr. Sutton and he’s amazing! Would definitely recommend
