I have been visiting Johnson Orthodontics for close to a year now for my braces treatment. Dr. Johnson and his team have turned what was once a terrifying idea for me into a seamless experience! I grew up in an area where dental care wasn't the highest priority and I allowed myself to fall into my late 20's/early 30's before seeking regular dental care/braces. Dr. Johnson and his staff don't look back on and point out my mistakes; they are focused on helping me move forward. Dr. Johnson exhibits a rare "bedside manner" that I have not often experienced in any form of health care, not just dentistry.
When we moved to Roanoke, we already had one child in braces, and now another—Johnson Orthodontics is amazing! Every staff member is helpful, kind, and warm. Dr. Johnson never talks down to pediatric patients, which makes my kids comfortable. He's fixed their overcrowding issues with surgical orthodontic treatment, and I couldn't be happier with the results in VA.

I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Johnson and his attentive, professional staff. Both of our children have received treatment from Johnson Orthodontics. Everything from the cleanliness of the office to the attention to detail given to every aspect of their treatment exceeded my expectations. Dr. Johnson and his staff in Roanoke are by far the most generous and professional group you'll find. They're so supportive with kids on their braces journey—even worth traveling for! Dr Johnson and his staff are all exceptional—patient oriented, friendly, caring and especially safety conscious in the current pandemic environment. Everyone was so warm and welcoming at this practice! Everything was explained to us in great detail regarding the treatment my son would need and they answered every single question we had. We left the office and immediately knew this was the place for us! My son gets braces next week. I highly recommend Johnson orthodontics!
My daughter and I must admit I have had an amazing experience with Dr Johnson and his wonderful team. I feel as is we have been part of an extended family, hearing about weddings, birth of babies and general shared information. We have also enjoyed seeing Dr Johnson’s children snick into the room, a couple of times over the years, to see what he is doing! Which means that if you feel as if you are visiting family members you will be treated like one and this is what we got. When the oral surgeon had difficulties attaching a bracket to the tooth that needed to be pulled down, Dr Johnson and his wife, who is also an excellent dentist, both appeared on their day off to help. So from the warm, friendly and helpful front desk staff, to all the other staff and finally Dr. Johnson’s perfectionist ethos my daughter now has beautiful and straight teeth. Thank you and yes we have hesitation in recommending this practice.

What can I say. The staff is top notch. When it was first recommended to me that my daughters go in for an evaluation, my first thought was "looks like I need to research a second mortgage to pay for this!" However, not only is the evaluation at no cost, they seek out all options before recommending orthodontic treatment. Options for services they don't provide. This truly is the mark of an organization that cares more about its patients, than just the bottom line.
