Update: Mom saw Susan for her cleaning today. Susan has been my hygienist for years, and she's just terrific! Very thorough, informative, and such a beautiful person. Mom always feels like everyone in this office is like family. My 91-year-old mom saw the new dentist last week. He was very nice and did a great job for her. Best of all, the office staff are the same under the new dentist! Yay. So glad we found this place in Federal Way for all our preventive dentistry needs.

Nordlie's is by far the best Dentist I have been to! Their staff is the best and friendly. The doctor is awesome and his work is incredible. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are here so happy to have found this Dentist.
Dr Nordlie suddenly retired after recommending and beginning replacement of a crown. Before my return appointment for placement of the permanent crown, I received a letter stating he had sold the practice to a Dr Wang. When I went in for the permanent crown, the dental assistant, Lynette did the prep and answered my questions. Dr Wang came in and cemented my crown with no introduction. He adjusted my bite and then Lynette adjusted my bite guard. The office is very well run and professional and kind. Dr Wang is an unknown and very young with very little background reviews.
I was upset by the sudden switch of the dentist in mid treatment.
I actually had three visits at Nordlie Family Dentistry this week! I live/work outside the US, so it's been years since I had dental care. Because of the short time I'd be in country, Ann worked to fit me into available time slots (quite a feat!), since they are on holiday next week and I leave the country soon after. It was fun to meet again with this great team (front office, hygienists, dental assistants, and the new dentist, Dr. Chan), as Dr. Mark has retired. It was a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. They handled everything from exams to a surgical extraction smoothly.

My first visit....from the receptionist, to the hygienist (Susan Frankland) to Dr. Nordlie they were very professional yet very friendly. I felt my dental issues were important to them and they fully included me in the process. I have had two dentists in the course of 50 years who treated me well. Then the practice was sold twice to corporations who treated me solely as income. Now I am where I belong!
I just had two crowns done...perfection!
Going to the dentist isn’t fun. This was my first visit to Dr. Nordlie’s office, I was very anxious and afraid of the poking and prodding. I didn’t have anything to worry about…they are all so calming and gentle. My hygienist was so careful and listened to all of my suggestions on where I’m the most anxious. They even gave me a cozy blanket to help with my nervousness! I’m so glad I found a dentist who cares about their patients and not the bottom line.

Everyone was very nice. The dentist was very nice and knowledgeable. He quickly fixed one tooth that was hurting my gum and gave his opinion about other teeth and issues. I went for a second opinion and the X-rays from the previous dentist were blurry so he redid the X-rays at no charge. Wow! A dentist that isn't money hungry. I love it! This Federal Way dental clinic is honest about restorative dentistry and more.

This was my first time at Nordie's family dentistry and I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The dental hygienists are professional and polite and explain everything they're doing. Out of all the dental hygienists I have had over my time, I felt this was the most thorough cleaning that I have experienced.
Dr Nordie is genuine, has great bedside manner and is knowledgeable. He is truly honest and I appreciate him for that. And I can trust him which is important, especially when establishing care with any health care provider.
