He even called to check up on our son after business hours, which truly meant a lot to us. Had my wisdom teeth removed today and I just want to say that every single person I encountered at this office was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. I was so nervous about this and had put it off for years. I'm glad I finally got it over with. My clumsy butt even came in and knocked into the tray they had the tools on and spilled stuff and they still made me feel comfortable and didn't make me feel bad about that. It was all very quick and as painless as getting 4 teeth removed can be lol. The doctor even called to check on me later in the evening. I would definitely recommend this place in Edgewood, KY.

I had to have 2 of my back teeth took out and the staff was great with me and Dr Jacob was great. I got IV sedation 🤣
This was the worst experience of my life. I went in to get wisdom teeth removed and it was terrible. I was completely awake and alert even though they claimed to have given me “twilight” anesthesia. It did nothing and I had extreme pain during the extraction. Dr. Sleet was a nice guy but he did not do enough to ensure my safety and well-being. Do not go here.

I was referred to Northern Kentucky Oral Maxillofacial from a dentist I went to concerning my wisdom tooth and the tooth next to it. I was in alot of pain and a NERVOUS WRECK to get surgery done on both of my infections. I had Dr. Eric Mencarelli and let me tell you, he was great!!! He made me feel so comfortable with his humorous personality! The day of my surgery I was nervous but his staff made that go away quickly. Dr. Mencarelli was so quick that I was in and out in no time! Please don't be scared going here because they will put you to sleep and you will not feel a thing! I was sore for a week but I just took my medicine and after a week I was alot better. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Mencarelli. He did an amazing job and I am so glad my two bad teeth are out and I am feeling much better!!
Dr. Jacobs removed my wisdom teeth 6 weeks ago. In our consultation we went over risks including nerve damage. My teeth were impacted and very close to my nerves. A couple days after my surgery, the bottom right side of my face and mouth were still numb. I work in the dental field and immediately knew something was wrong. When I reached out to Dr. Jacobs, initially he brushed it off and said it was not uncommon despite being rare. My nerve was damaged in the surgery and I lost all feeling of my lip, chin, teeth, and gums on the bottom right side. I did not/do not place blame on Dr. Jacobs, however I wish he had been more upfront about the risks and more responsive afterward.

Dr. Mencarelli is the best! I'm a heart patient with a wisdom tooth that came in later in life. He collaborated with my heart doctor to make sure everything went smoothly. He took the time to explain everything well in my consultation and answered all my questions and concerns. The surgery went off without a hitch! Dr. Jacobs seemed like he was in a rush both times I saw him. I had questions and rather than answering them, he told his nurse to sedate me. I woke up while my tooth was being extracted. Let me tell you, you do NOT want to wake up to the sound of your tooth crushing; it was worse than any imaginable nightmare. He said he would call the night of my surgery. One week later, he never called. I had no idea I was supposed to schedule a follow-up appointment, because he wouldn't take the time to talk to me! When I did speak to him, he was patronizing and condescending. This experience was the type of nightmare you'd never wish on anyone.

Originally I was nervous when I saw reviews but when I realized it was mostly about estimates & paying for X-rays, etc I was more at ease. Dr. Jacobs did my consult and I was expecting him to say I had to remove both bottom wisdom teeth even though 1 was only giving me an issue, he gave an honest opinion and said that my other would be fine if I only wanted to remove one. They gave me a rough estimate before I left the office, dental insurance is a racket and I appreciated them letting me know "ballpark" cost before I left! Surgery day was quick and easy, everyone I came in contact with was very nice. I'd recommend them for wisdom teeth extraction in Edgewood, KY.

I live north of Dayton Ohio and was in an emergency situation where I needed a wisdom tooth pulled and another tooth that was in need of being removed immediately I was referred to Dr.Jacobs by a friend because my oral surgeon didn't want to remove it because of the wisdom tooth being to close to the nerve and said it would be VERY PAINFUL, So I decided to try Dr.Jacobs, I showed up to my appointment and was greeted like I was family I was taken into the surgery room where Dr.Jacobs explained what he would be doing during the procedure I was given the anesthesia and it seemed like I blinked and it was over. I had very slight discomfort for a few days as my gums healed but the surgery was fantastic! Dr.Jacobs was very compassionate to me and my needs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR.JACOBS and his practice.

My entire experience with this office was exceptional. The Doctor was efficient, knowledgeable, and kind. The staff was friendly and professional. The tooth extraction which required removing crown and cracked root took a bit over an hour in total, and the procedure was exceptionally well done. Perfect outcome. The doc called to follow up a couple days later. Highly recommend with no reservations.
Dr.Jacobs did a fantastic job! I was very nervous but him and the nurses helped me calm down and made sure I knew I was okay! I was having issues with my mouth yesterday, went back to see jacobs , and he was so nice and helped me !! I definitely recommend him!!
I will never recommend these people for oral surgery. They wouldn’t give me an estimate on price for removing my wisdom teeth over the phone as I do not have dental insurance.
I make the $110 consult fee, and they have me in and out in 5 minutes. The surgeon arrived after appointment time, set down his belongings, told me I’m 25 years old and it’s time to remove them. Sent me on my way. The price was average compared to others.
I left dissatisfied and any call I made to the office was disregarded. I booked with someone else that may cost more to avoid there poor service. They don’t care and seem to be money driven.
Highly recommend Dr. Robinson for oral surgery needs. While I was there with my daughter I witnessed an irate dad who was being very loud and aggressive because his HSA credit card didn’t work because there were not enough funds in the account. The last time I checked the parents are responsible for their bank accounts not the office staff. He wanted to blame the office staff but once he called his bank and realized it was his error, he got really quiet.
I then witnessed a patient who had over the top anxiety with needles, doctors, procedures, etc. I myself am a nurse so I get this. The medical team handled it beautifully.

My 10 year old needed 9 teeth pulled due to overcrowding prior to having braces put on and we went to Dr. Robinson at the recommendation of her dentist/orthodontist. She did great after the anesthesia in the office and was up immediately for the drive home. She had no bleeding, very little swelling, and only minor soreness for the first day or two. She had her one week post-op appointment today and is almost completely healed! I would definitely recommend Dr. Robinson for oral surgery.
Listen to the Reviews on here folks!! This office is horrible. They gave me an estimate of $305. I paid that up front after the surgery it was $700 MORE!!!!!!! They said, delta dental only pays for it if you have more teeth took out. Well why didnt you all say that before hand. They also gave me an appointment card with a date and time for my follow up. I requested off work, showed up to be told,,, oh we wrote down the wrong date its tomorrow.
The reschedule for the next week.. I show up, they say, oh it's at the florence office.
I never got the follow up because their office assistant arent competent enough to schedule a follow up.
I try to get the insurance to pay their part, they refused it again. So I agree to $25 every other friday. They take 1 payment out of my account then no more for 6 month. Then run my card 4 time this month alone!!! Stay away from this place. Not worth the aggravation.
