Yesterday on 3/26 I had 11 extractions. The receptionist, the nurses and the doc all made me feel safe and acknowledged my fear and anxiety...for 12 years I had been putting this surgery off or booking appointments an then leaving I found this place an I have never felt so understood...all of you were and are amazing and I can't thank you enough for being my support system when I had none ❤️❤️
I drove 2.5 hours to have my tooth extracted by Dr. Reifies because my friends all raved about him. And let me tell you…. WORTH EVERY MILE. I have extreme dental anxiety and he was so kind and compassionate and had incredible chair-side manners. He made me feel so comfortable and talked me through the entire procedure. I had 1 wisdom tooth extracted with local numbing. And he made sure I was completely numb before pulling(my biggest fear) he pulled my tooth within minutes of putting the instrument in my mouth! It was so effortless and quick I gave him a high five while he was still holding my tooth because I was so shocked!! Highly highly recommend. The whole staff I encountered was so kind and the office was very clean and calming. I will for sure be back for any major needs! Thank you Dr. Reifies and staff!
If I could give Dr. Reifeis and his staff 10 stars, I would. From the time you walk in the front door, until you walk out of it, Dr. Reifeis and his team showed A+ customer service, which is hard to find these days. Every time I called with a concern, they got me in right away. Every staff member is always extremely nice, patient, and pleasant. Dr. Reifeis took the time to talk with me and answered all of my questions. He's so down to earth. He never made me feel like a patient more like a good friend. He's amazing. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about him, his staff or the work that they do. I tell everyone about my experience and would refer him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Reifeis and staff for caring for me before and after my widsom tooth extraction. 👏 🏆 🫶🎖💯
I went in to get two impacted wisdom teeth removed and Dr Reifeis and his team made the whole process easy and straightforward. I was nervous before going in as I’ve never had surgery like that done before but my questions and concerns were answered and that definitely made all the difference. I’ll be sure to recommend Dr Reifeis and his team to anyone who needs wisdom teeth surgery done in the future.
Thank you, Blake! We appreciate that feedback :)
Worst experience ever my son woke up during his wisdom teeth removal he was threatened to be tied down I was not informed and they acted like it was OK currently looking for malpractice lawyers. Please please please don't trust these monsters with your child.
Update: They have blown off my concerns and keep telling me this is normal my child is terrified and yes they did verify they threatened to tie him down. They are now trying to save face please dont let these monsters touch your child!!!
Hi, Karie. We spoke with you on the phone and clarified that it is common to 'wake up' during light sedation, but wanted to address here, as well. In addition to the consent forms that state the in-office IV sedation with local anesthesia "makes you less aware of the procedure by making you calmer, sleepy, and less able to remember the procedure", I will also include some other information from online if you are feeling as though we were just trying to placate you: "During light conscious sedation, also called minimal sedation or anxiolysis, the patient is fully awake and aware. It is normal to "wake up" because you are never meant to be fully asleep. The sedation medication simply makes you feel more relaxed and at ease.
The purpose of light conscious sedation is to reduce anxiety while allowing you to remain responsive to verbal commands.
What to expect during light conscious sedation
Minimal drowsiness: While some people may feel a little drowsy, you will not fall into a deep sleep.
Relaxation: The primary goal of the sedation is to help you feel calm and comfortable.
Awareness: You will be completely awake and able to respond to the doctor's instructions or questions.
No memory loss: Unlike deeper sedation, patients who receive light sedation often remember the entire procedure.
Quick recovery: The effects wear off quickly once the sedation is stopped, and you will return to normal within minutes. "
As to your other suggestion, I am sorry but that is simply not true. You edited your initial post and have now continued to make false accusations.
If you have any other questions or further concerns, please feel free to give us a call.
Wonderful people and very professional. The whole team made me feel comfortable the entire time!
Amazing and wonderful staff. Never met kinder people
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Reifeis and his entire team at Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. The front desk is friendly and efficient, the assistants are kind and professional, and Dr. Reifeis himself is absolutely amazing.
He takes the time to explain every step, answers all questions with patience, and makes sure you feel completely at ease. His skill and compassion truly set him apart. The procedure went smoothly, and the care I received before, during, and after was outstanding.
If you’re looking for an oral surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients and works with a staff that goes above and beyond, look no further than Dr. Reifeis. They are simply the best!
I just wanna say THANK YOU I couldn’t be more grateful for a staff and Dr like you guys !! I had my wisdom teeth removed and I was full of anxiety and the ladies made sure to take care of me and calm me down every time ! The Dr was amazing everything happened so quickly my healing process is going amazing as well I also had to get stitches and didn’t feel a thing thank you guys so much for your hard work !!!
Thank you so much, Justine! We are happy to hear that you had a positive experience with our doctor and our staff, and we're delighted to hear that you are doing so well after your procedure. Thank you again for your kind words.
They are very rude I had my wisdom teeth removal scheduled and an hour before my appointment called to cancel and reschedule so I rescheduled and it happened again but this time called 20 minutes before my appointment never go here!
We do apologize that you had that experience. It is always regrettable when an unforeseen emergency happens and it has a negative impact on the schedule. We took no enjoyment in having to make that call in order to reschedule, and apologize for the inconvenience to you and your driver.
I was very disappointed with this place. They care only for money. After paying $1360 for wisdom teeth extraction, also having insurance as well, did not care the patient at all.
I'm sorry to hear you had that experience. We are an out-of-network provider with all commercial insurances. Most private practice oral surgery companies in this area are. Which means that we file with insurance companies on behalf of our patients, but we cannot control what your benefits are and how much your insurance will choose to pay. Regardless, we are sorry to hear that affected your view of the care you received.
extremely friendly, quick, and was an incredibly painless procedure. they were super understanding of me being nervous as well, and i feel much better now than when i went in!
I've had a great experience with Dr. Reifeis. As someone with severe dental anxiety, Dr. Reifeis has a very calming demeanor that makes you feel safe. My procedure went well and I was in and out quickly. I cannot recommend him enough and am incredibly thankful I chose him to remove my wisdom teeth.
Thank you so much, Zayda! Dental anxiety is extremely common. It is always wonderful to hear such positive feedback - Dr. Reifeis and our staff always try to make every patient feel relaxed and welcome. It feels nice to be seen. Thank you again for your kind words.
I am disabled, my anxiety and PTSD was misinterpreted. The office staff responded in a very impatient and defensive way. I was ultimately disrespected and talked down to. I have had to file my own insurance for the bills from this surgery myself. I now have learned all about dental icd9 codes. Collection phone calls had been interrupting my everyday life for almost a full year. I am sorry I showed any frustration when asking questions. I should have known my place as a disabled patient and let the office staff talk to me as they saw fit. Less understanding and patient than expected 😌
I scheduled my wisdom teeth removal, paid the money down I needed to, and they ended up cancelling so I took the day off work for nothing. so I rescheduled, took another day off work just for them to call me a half hour before the surgery and cancelled again 😊 took two days off work for NOTHING.
Very friendly staff. Comfortable environment.
