I’m giving a one star review due to miscommunication regarding consultation fees. My 15 minute consultation with a scan of my teeth cost $415. Per the office manager Ashley I was sent an email from a 3rd party with this information (which I did not receive). Ashley told me to search my spam/junk folders for this information! If I am charging $415 I would definitely make sure that the patient is completely aware of this information prior to walking through the door. I expressed my concerns to her that I never received an email nor do I remember being asked my email during the call to make the appointment. She also stated I should have received a text message with a link. Of course that wasn’t the case and she stated that was probably because I was sent an email with the information. At my appointment I filled out at least 6 pages of new patient paperwork, one asking me to leave a card on file but never a written notice stating the price of the fees. The staff and doctor seemed very pleasant but after finding out I owed over $400 without any notification, I paid my fee and will not be returning. Ashley had also stated that she has never had this problem before but after reading the reviews online it’s very apparent that I’m not the first patient that didn’t get the information.

It's never fun to have an infected tooth removed. I'm home now after surgery this morning. I first met Dr. Middleton and staff at their Venice office two days ago. Both the Venice and Bee Ridge offices are clean, bright, and comfortable. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When you call, a real person answers on the first ring! But most importantly, my surgery was smooth. No sooner did Dr. Middleton say hello and administer anesthesia than it was over. I'm home feeling good. I needed an extraction for upper inside tooth and was referred to Dr. Roemmer by Dr. Marty Dorkus with Tarpon Shores Dental. Both provided excellent care and my extraction went without a single issue. No pain whatsever after the fact. Great experience, if there is such a thing for a tooth extraction.
Who would believe that a tooth extract and bone graft would be described as pleasant? I am the poster boy for pain and fear. I developed adult agony riding to the office. Lo and behold! The actual extraction began with quick two location numbing needle that I hardly noticed. The sites were so exact and the anesthetic so carefully chosen that my tongue did not get numb, only the area near the gum line necessary to extract the tooth. Necessary stitches were immediately created, bleeding was minimal, and I was engaged with the endodontist throughout. The experience was pleasant. I fit my bridge and had no residual pain.
I was nervous getting my wisdom extraction as I needed 3 to be done. I will say they did an amazing job. I am 2 weeks post op and my healing has been amazing. I want to send great respect and love for Dr. Middleton and the staff for being amazing and taking care of me every step of the way. My journey was a scary one but they made sure to be there and take care of me. Informed my driver (mother) with proper instructions for my recovery. The office was small but very friendly and welcoming. THANK YOU ALL! YOU ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED. 💖🙌
