Past unpleasant dental experiences as an adult have resulted in quite the aversion to clinical events involving hands and metal instruments entering my mouth. . . So, I was a bit of an anxious wreck going in. (These kinds of feelings being uncommon-of course .) The professionals at Scituate Oral Surgery get ALL the stars from me! It was basically all I could imagine to hope for a dental surgery to be. - There was communication throughout. - The practice is clean . - The staff are sweet and reassuring. - Oh, and you can't beat this : the oral surgery team worked like a dream together so it was in and out in a flash. I guess those anxieties I have held didn't know who they were messing with!!! Thanks again to reception for fitting me in, too! Definitely recommend. 🪻🌸

Had an implant done last year. Dr. Johnson placed the hardware, then Dr. Chris at Smile Center did the crown. There's a big gap where food gets stuck. Dr. Johnson says it's Dr. Chris's fault, his office says it's hers. Frustrating finger-pointing.

Had to take care of my girlfriend after her extractions and I’ve never been more horrified by the carelessness of a medical provider in my life. I work in pharmacy and have never known any surgeon to not prescribe pain medication afterwards. The surgery was on Friday and they didn’t find it urgent enough to send any prescriptions leaving her at risk for agonizing pain and infection, and now they’re closed for the weekend. I plan to tell my patients to avoid this office, unless you want to be left high and dry when it comes to aftercare

Had my wisdom teeth and a back tooth removed in Scituate. Recovery started rough—got really sick and couldn't keep anything down. Called the office worried about dry socket, and they got me in right away for IV fluids and nausea meds. Avoided the ER. Then I did get a dry socket from vomiting, and again they saw me immediately. Incredible care.

I had a bad experience a few days earlier when a periodontist tried to remove my tooth. I was in the chair for over an hour and experiencing very significant pain despite repeated novacaine. At Scituate oral surgery Everyone in the office was understanding and reassuring. They made me feel very comfortable and the actual removal of the tooth was complete in 2 minutes with no pain after novacaine. Highly recommend this practice.
