The staff here is absolutely wonderful, and we've been visiting a family member for over a year. But honestly, the smell out front is unbearable. It always smells like feces or raw sewage. We figured after a month Southwell would have fixed it, but tonight, November 28th, it was so strong we were gagging walking in. That can't be sanitary—feels like a health code violation. Love the people, but please address this.

Took my cousin for a small surgery and waited around. Decided to check out the Spice of Life Cafe—best hospital food I've ever had, tastes like a real restaurant and prices are great. The cafe staff are always patient and friendly. Nurses and desk help are super nice too. That's Adel baby!

Had outpatient surgery on my foot at Southwell in Adel, and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone from the front desk to the anesthesiologist was attentive and really took their time with me. Never felt rushed. If I need any orthopedic care again, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Walk-in clinic refused to see my 11-year-old with a 103.7 fever at 7:15 PM, even though they close at 8. Called ahead and the nurse said to sit them in front of a fan with no clothes and rotate Tylenol and Motrin. We were in the parking lot and they still wouldn't see us. Ended up at the ER getting scans and a CT. Shame on you, Southwell.

They would be great of you could ever talk to someone on the phone to schedule. I have never gotten through or had staff return voicemails. When I do actually get an appointment, staff is great.

My insurance is 0 deductable and 0 copay i had a hip replacement and Southwell charged me over$250.00 i called them several times my insurance said everything was paid in full i asked what it was for they said they give me 1 gabapention and 1 tylenol and looked at me to see if i needed therapy and that was the charge i told them that that wasnt right but they charged anyway i will never use southwell again thank you

Wonderful facility in Adel! Nurses, techs, everybody was professional and friendly. Hayden Mainor did my pre-op, Tiffany Worthy and Kala Stone got me ready, Dr. Rachel Horn did my knee block, Jason Geddings my spinal, Chelsea McDonald circulating, Angie Wood and Scarlett Harper scrubs, Darbi Hilliard PACU, Angie Crumbly and Scarlett Harper post-op. Couldn't have asked for better orthopedic care. Definitely recommend!

Awful experience. My mother came in with severe back pain. We waited 3 hours in a room before anyone saw us. No one checked in, and we heard a lot of chattering outside. We tried to be patient given COVID, but the 'fast service' we read about? Not what we got.

Worst experience ever. We were sent to Adel because Tifton was backed up. He drank the liquid for a CT scan, and they didn't do the scan until 4 hours later. Only a security guard in the waiting room. My husband's room had trash from the previous patient on the floor, and the tech tried to insert the contrast with the tourniquet still on. After the scan they just said we were good to go. Awful.

I was recently diagnosed with covid and had to go to the hospital for treatment. I was extremely impressed with how southwell handled my situation including protecting those around them and for anyone that might be coming in for treatment. The nursing staff was very professional and polite. What was amazing is that they didn't hesitate to come to my needs even putting themselves at risk just by being around me. Walk-in clinic lost my medical records and said they wouldn't find them. I called my regular clinic and confirmed they were sent. After I complained for a about ten minutes they started looking for them. Receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. I cannot recommend this clinic with the experience I had.

No emergency room & located very close to southbound I-75. This is a new facility which is nice but if you are in a wreck, injured, have a serious health problem or extreme pain, you may be better off calling an ambulance. They need an emergency room!

Admitted for a sore on my big toe and was terrified I'd lose it. The charge nurse Will put me at ease immediately—he deserves a raise! All the nurses and CNAs were amazing and made my stay much better. Great hospital and staff for wound care in Adel.
