Came in for a consultation and my Surgeon from Canada had emailed a current CT scan to them, at the appointment they told me they could not open it and needed to do another for $425 plus the $200 consultation. I agreed and although did not see the results they gave me a quote for 4 implants. During the consultation I had to listen to the crap vacation with her family in Portugal and how she was divorcing her husband. The normal visit was wonderful as always. The cleaning was great as usual. Sara was engaging, charming, personable, and professional. The receptionists (some new ones) were friendly as usual. It was the drama that happened after I got home and received a call from Sara that was troubling. I was informed that she had discussed my case with Tina and came to the conclusion that I needed oral surgery straightaway. This kind of threw me a little off balance and raised my concerns. BUT, Sara, being charming and assuring again talked me off of the ledge and that I needed take advantage.

I agree that Dr Turner is a skilled periodontist. However her office management leaves a lot to be desired. Wait times were long, I was left in dental chair
for near an hour with no updates. ( I returned to waiting room for water). I was there for implant removal and was very nervous. Dr Turner did not speak more than a few words to me. The procedure went smoothly , took less than half an hour and cost $4300 ! I know there was setup and cleanup but still !!! Be patient ,don’t expect empathy ,,and have money!
As always caring, most competent clinicians in town. Always pain free for me. I love them.
Only complaint was you were almost 15 minutes late in starting. But you made sure after 4 text and an email reminding me to be at the appointment at the scheduled time!
My Experience: Office waiting room very nice. Examination rooms very nice. Admin was very pleasant (initially). Dogs behind desk are adorable. The quality of work was beyond horrendous.

I’m very happy to be a patient of Dr Turner and Sara, they really care. I have been apprehensive to start my treatment, I knew what is ahead with my periodontal issues and delayed it but I now know I am going to be in good hands. I was very lucky to have been referred to Dr Turner. After my initial visit I got into the car and told my husband there wasn’t even a question, when Dr Turner told me what had to be done I knew she is the right choice. The staff at Venice Periodontics are welcoming and professional. I have been a patient for years. Recently I have been having Chemotherapy. Thinking nothing of it I went to have Sara do her deep cleaning of my mouth. She worried about performing the work while I was having treatment so went to consult with Dr. Lisa who returned and said there would be no cleaning that day. They further sent a questionnaire to my Oncologist for clarification. The response? They were right not to clean till the chemo treatments are finished. Wow! My high regard for Venice Periodontics has gone even higher. They are patient centered first even if it takes their valuable time and costs them the penalty of an empty chair. You will be safe and healthy in their care, too. And the dogs are cute too.🐶

I had my first visit the other day and Dr. Turner and her staff were terrific!! They made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. While I expected a very short exam, they got right down to business reviewing my past records and even calling my regular dentists to get additional information. Very good experience for my initial exam. The doctor is so nice and knowledgeable, the office is beautiful and the doggo's just made my day! Not looking forward to my surgery but that's not her fault! I'm sure the care will be just as wonderful!
