Got my wisdom teeth removed on February 19, 2026, and it went pretty well overall. The office in Federal Way is clean and modern, felt really professional. The staff kept things welcoming. What really stood out was the oral surgery assistant—she was super helpful, answered all my questions, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable and safe before and during the procedure. On the flip side, the surgeon Dr. Guo could've been a bit more reassuring and explained things better. He came in, did his thing, but didn't really make me feel at ease. Still, the assistant's care made a big difference.
Thanks for sharing your feedback, John. We're glad the assistant helped you feel comfortable during your wisdom teeth removal at Washington Jaw & Facial Surgery in Federal Way. We'll share your comments with Dr. Guo to improve our patient communication. We appreciate you giving us a chance.
Great practice with efficient work ethic all around. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Dr. Cho's care was amazing and well structured.

Don't go here, they're scammers! Took my wife in for a tooth extraction and paid out of pocket. They eventually reimbursed me because they said they got paid by her insurance. Then a few months later they called saying they never got payment and wanted me to pay again—which is illegal. They claimed my insurance sent a check to my house, but I never got it, and my insurance confirmed they sent payment to the clinic. I asked them to just have the insurance resend the check since it wasn't cashed, but the girl on the phone...

Took my daughter in a few days ago. Most of the staff were courteous and professional, but our interaction with Dr. Marina was not okay. Her tone came across as passive-aggressive and condescending, which felt disrespectful. That's not the level of professionalism you expect when you're paying for medical services. I hope this gets addressed, but honestly, we won't be coming back.
We're truly sorry to hear about your experience with Dr. Marina at Washington Jaw & Facial Surgery in Federal Way. That's not the care we aim to provide. We take your feedback seriously and will address this with our team. If you're open to discussing further, please contact our office directly.
Very kind and patient for my very anxious daughter. I love that they had Saturday appointments!

My son had a weird tooth growing in the roof of his mouth! Our dentist referred us here. Got a consultation within a few weeks, and the procedure was the following week. The staff in Federal Way are kind, relatable, efficient, and respectful. The office is clean and looks good. They do follow-up calls and reminders too. Trustworthy care all around.

From my very first phone call with the receptionist, I had a good feeling about this place. My grandson was taken in recently to have his wisdom teeth removed, and from entrance to exit we were well taken care of. All our questions were answered. From the front desk staff to the nurse and doctor, everything was done quickly and professionally. I'd readily recommend Washington Jaw & Facial Surgery.
Thanks, Joy! We're so glad your grandson's wisdom teeth removal was a positive experience at Washington Jaw & Facial Surgery in Federal Way. Our team appreciates your kind words and recommendation!
Went with my sister since she needed to get her wisdom teeth removed, surgery went great but the staff was horrendous!! The front desk lady was so arrogant and rude: as someone who has worked in customer service and in a front desk setting, that not a proper way to greet at all. What made it more apparent was when others came in her tone of voice changed/ and the interaction was different. Even when pulled back for the consultation the nurses were rushed and seemed annoyed when we would ask questions, the only person that took time to explain and answer the questions was the doctor. Even as we were taking my sister back to the car the nurse that was bringing her out seemed annoyed. Surgery wise it went great but the lack of customer service made it displeasing.
Had a wisdom tooth extraction on 7/7/25 and honestly it was the best experience I could've asked for. The office is on the third floor with a calming view that helped ease my anxiety beforehand. The doctors were professional and confident without being cold. They kept a serious tone but genuinely tried to gain my trust and calm my nerves. The staff is kind, patient, and compassionate. Probably the best team I could've trusted with something like this.
Thanks, Vic! We're thrilled your wisdom tooth extraction went so smoothly at Washington Jaw & Facial Surgery in Federal Way. Our team works hard to make every patient feel at ease. Come back anytime if you need us!
They were kind and sweet to me. Serita and Jenny were very funny to talk with. Doctor Obenchain was kind and helpful answering any questions. I have very minimal swelling and the service was great.
Hi,Yoko. Thanks for taking the time to share your positive experience. We truly appreciate it!
We felt like a number in this clinic. They admitted to scheduling 14 patients to one doctor in a day. Front desk receptionist barely made eye contact. We were not told parents could not stay during procedure. Other staff were rude and dismissive. Would not allow for a support person. We were told to leave and reschedule “in six months”. We found a clinic in Olympia, by our home, that takes our insurance, can schedule us within 3 weeks, and will support the needs of my child who has anxiety disorder. Would strongly advise not to use this clinic.
My son got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled in one appointment here. He was super nervous but the staff couldn't have handled him better. They explained everything thoroughly and made sure we understood and could ask questions. The procedure was fast and smooth. They kept in touch to check on his healing and made sure I was confident with post-op care. My son came out talking highly of them. Couldn't thank this wonderful staff enough!
Thanks, A! We're so happy your son's wisdom teeth removal went well at Washington Jaw & Facial Surgery in Federal Way. Our team loves hearing that he felt well cared for. Wishing him a smooth recovery!
My Grandson needed his Wisdom Teeth pulled. Our Dentist referred us to Washington Jaw and Facial Surgery. Office Staff is very friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and made sure i had all pre-surgery information. Day of Surgery Dr. Was Amazing and helpful. We discussed a few things and then my Grandson went back to start the procedure. First 24 hours it's very important to follow all the steps to start the healing process. Pain management as well as use of ice packs are very important. Made sure to have lots of soft foods available. Vanilla ice cream and yogurt helped. Then slowly moved to other soft foods. If you follow the directions they give you it shouldn't be a problem. I appreciated them calling the next day to check up and see how things were going as well as another follow up call a week later. I will recommend Washington Jaw and Facial Surgery to my Family and Friends! Thank you for Outstanding Service.

Dr Cho and the dental assistants are amazing! I got 3 wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and they were so professional and did a great job. Very minor swelling and the process was fast easy and affordable.
I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday, and let me say that was the WORST experience I have ever had. The doctor who brought me back didnt really speak much to me at all, and this was my first surgery of my life so I was naturally really scared and worried. Nobody was telling me anything at all, my blood pressure was too high to begin the procedure so they just left me alone in the room for probably 20 extra minutes. After the surgery was over, no words were said again, no commentary at all. The same doctor walked me to a chair to sit in while I waited for my ride. I was crying in the chair mostly because I was scared and didnt know what to do at all. Some lady was walking by me back and forth a couple times and then came up to me and asked if I knew why I was crying, I didnt know at the time so I said no and she snapped at me and said well then STOP crying and rips the gauze I had out of my mouth, gets more gauze and tells me to open my mouth and I do as much as I could at the time and get gets more frustrated and says open its bigger and shoves the gauze in my mouth to a point where it hurt more and I cried more. That lady brought me to a wheelchair and my partner tries to come say hi to me after the surgery and this lady has the absolute AUDACITY to tell him to get out of the way. Didnt tell either of us how to go about the healing process, all just sass and so much attitude. We had to call them back when we got home and ask what to do, and whatever lady picked up told him that they already told ME what to do. SOMEONE WHO WAS UNDER ANESTHESIA. The absolute audacity of this place is insane. Extremely upset with how I was treated. So unprofessional to say the least.
My daughter recently had dental surgery here, and I couldn't be more pleased. The doctor and nursing staff were exceptional, the procedure was swift and without complications. I highly recommend this clinic to friends for its excellent care and professionalism.
Thanks for your kind words! We're thrilled your daughter's dental surgery went smoothly at Washington Jaw & Facial Surgery in Federal Way. Our team appreciates your recommendation and hope she's recovering well!
Went to get all four wisdom teeth removed. 1.) Front desk was short toned and didn't seem to care.
Nurses were nice and answered all of my questions. I did get uneasy when hearing the nurse in training be told she wasn't participating in my surgery since it was local and not general anesthesia.
2.) The surgeon didn't seem to agree with my preference of local anesthesia but after my insistence for several minutes they went with it (only after telling me that local usually doesn't work and if it didn't work they would have to reschedule me surgery even though it was urgent since I had an oral infection that was spreading). The local anesthesia through my insurance was free, but they were pushing the general anesthesia so that they could charge me $900+.
3.) During, and after the surgery the surgeon seemed to be dismissive and didn't even talk to me after. I got a follow up call a few hours after the surgery and besides that I never heard back from the dentist office. During the followup call all they asked me was how the pain was and when I answered all I got back was silence until I asked if there was anything else they needed.
They did provide detailed printed instructions before leaving the office which was nice.
I was referred here to get a tooth pulled and ended up getting 3 of my wisdom teeth removed along with the other tooth. The receptionists are so friendly and caring. The lady that I talked to on the phone helped explain to me what would happen, and then got me in the next day to get the teeth pulled. The assistants were also very nice to me. I had never gotten an IV before and they made sure I was comfortable and calm before they poked me, and being the age of 20, most doctors don't treat me like an adult but Dr. Christie sat down with me and explained how everything would go, I couldn't ask for better service from them. I definitely recommend coming here, they're very welcoming and respectful.
Hi Katelyn, We appreciate you taking the time to share you experience with Dr. Christie and our receptionists! The greatest compliment we can receive is your recommendation. -Dr. Calley Christie and the Team
