Honestly, I was at my wits end trying to find an orthodontist in Columbus, GA who'd help with my permanent retainer that popped off. I've had it nearly 20 years and don't live near where I got my braces. Dr. Holman at West Georgia Orthodontics was the only one willing to see me—got me in super quick for emergency dental care when others wouldn't because I wasn't a regular patient. So thankful they helped me out and I'll definitely be coming back!

Had a great experience with Dr. Holman and her team at West Georgia Orthodontics! My permanent retainer broke off and was stabbing my tongue, and with my original orthodontist gone, I didn't know where to go in Columbus. They got me in quickly—so kind and professional. Dr. Holman removed the broken retainer and set me up with Invisalign clear aligners. The whole process was quick and everyone made me feel completely at ease. Highly recommend!

We heard so many great things about West Georgia Orthodontics and they're totally worth the hour drive to Columbus, GA! Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The doctor is very out of date, I have a overbite but nothing to severe, she immediately wanted to extract four of my teeth, and from the beginning I’ve told her I refuse to have my teeth extracted cause again my overbite is not that bad. I’ve asked about IPR, appliances, anything other than extracting but she would refuse. I ended up going to another ortho and he agreed that I made a good choice of not having my teeth removed, he put in a T-Rex appliance to move my teeth back, and fix my overbite. If you have anything going on other than just a few teeth that need to be straightened, then I would recommend looking elsewhere. Plus it’s been nice to have a doctor that doesn’t blow off my questions. 🙂 also just to add cause it won't let me reply to your comment, this wasn't a complementary consultation, this was after a year of having braces with y'all that I finally had enough and left. Clearly her judgment can’t be trusted if I was able to go to another orthodontist and he was able to fix my bite without extractions.

Dr. Holman is actually very conservative when it comes to recommending extractions and only does so after evaluating several factors including tooth size, dental alignment, and jaw structure to determine the best possible outcome for the patient’s smile and oral health. We sincerely wish you the best!
So disappointed with the treatment and services that I received from Dr. Holman. I had braces for 2 years got them removed in December. For 2 years the front desk has been extremely rude every appointment. Every time I’ve had a question about my treatment to doctor Holman it was met with resistance.Dr.Holman will not take any calls or call back about treatment services if you have a question. She would come in and offer no update about my treatment and if I asked it was as if it was an insult to question her. (I stopped asking) The day she took the braces off she didn’t ask any questions about how I would like my smile to look she shaved my teeth down and I HATE my smile after spending 4K on the braces I was informed at my last appointment I owed $51 to settle the account I called back to settle it and was charged a late fee. Crystal was so dismissive and rude she accused me of trying to intimidate her when asking questions but repeatedly cut me off mid sentence. I asked to speak with Dr. Holman of course she stated Dr. Holman doesn’t speak with patients. Finally she said she would give Dr. Holman my number in the event she chose to call me back. Crystal quoted policies/contract that the company had broken but referred me back to the same policies to benefit the company. Still waiting to speak with Dr.Holman. Braces are too expensive to receive this type of treatment save yourself go somewhere else.
Bullying and intimidation are not tolerated in this office. And posting negative reviews as a form of retaliation in response to dismissal will be considered harassment.
I never had braces as a child, so my oldest getting braces is my first experience. It has been wonderful so far! They always make sure to make her feel extra comfortable before they do any work on her. They make sure any questions we have are answered, and service is always professional and time efficient. Even when they are short staffed, we are still seen quickly. The whole staff is friendly and patient! We are loving our experience so far!

This is my second time around, first was my personal experience which was amazing! Now, my 9 year old granddaughter is a patient and she loves it just as much as I do! She looks forward to her appointments. Even when she is not very cooperative, the staff is very patient with her. Dr. Holman and her staff are awesome! The service here is top notch and makes getting braces a pleasant experience. We walked in to a smiling staff and left to a smiling staff. The wait times are short and everyone we encountered was approachable and nice. Even after my son got his braces they have been very helpful to any questions that I had. I highly recommend Dr. Holman to anyone needing braces.
