Honestly, I'm terrified of the dentist, so finding a place that actually puts you at ease is huge. This office in Federal Way is wonderful. The front desk ladies are super sweet and kind, and the dentists are awesome too. Felt really safe during all the little procedures. Had a tooth extracted and during it another tooth got knocked loose—they brought me right back in, apologized, and fixed it. Funny thing is that tooth was already sideways. They fixed it and didn't charge me a penny. Really appreciate their care.

I drive over an hour to get to 253 Dental in Federal Way, and I'd do it again without a second thought. Walk in and they treat you like family. Gretchen and Andrea at the front desk are always warm and friendly—puts you right at ease. I avoided the dentist for over 10 years because of fear, but this place changed that. Every hygienist is patient and really cares about your comfort. They listen and make sure you feel good the whole time. Couldn't ask for better care.

Have been waiting to have more dental work done here before I posted, so I’m almost there w the major work at 253 Dental. Dr. Walker and the 253 Dental staff are excellent in terms of their knowledge and skills. They are thorough, kind, accommodating, and professional. I’m impressed that Dr. Walker keeps up with the newest dental technologies and that he lets his patients see proof of what he finds through several photos fr an intra-oral camera and 3D X-rays. (My Tx dentist had a 3D X-ray machine, but it wasn’t as advanced as Dr. Walker’s.) The 253 office is very clean and a dental asst escorts me to the back for dental work almost immediately when I enter. In July (a few months ago) I moved here to Washington State fr being a patient of my Tx dentist for over 20 years. The 253 Dental office took videos and photos of my teeth and excellent X-rays, revealing 3 huge cavities under my crowns and obvious signs of me grinding my teeth. The 253 staff filled the cavities & replaced the 3 crowns, and repaired the huge chips from me grinding my teeth; today they fitted a mouth guard to wear to prevent further chips and cracks. And the tooth with the crown that was under “a watch” for 3+ years? Well, it needed a root canal and the root was totally dead. Had the root canal done 2 wks ago. Dr. Walker explained that one can have cavities without one experiencing tooth and mouth pains and that grinding one’s teeth at night doesn’t always result in jaw pain and headaches in the morning. I’m so glad Dr. Walker is my dentist! I especially like that he and his dental assistants take time during exams to show clear proof of their findings in images and to present the results in everyday language. So many dentists do quick exams and use numbers and words only their assistants who are writing down the findings can understand, e.g., xxx buckle on #14, class one canine with xxx, etc. Not so w Dr. Walker! His exams are to show you, the patient, what’s going on w your teeth and for he and his staff to triangulate the data. It’s not that other dentists and staff are bad. I think instead they might not have up-to-date training.
This is the best dental office I have been to and I have been to a lot! Prices are good but the staff is better. Very pleased with the treatment I have received and they even offer a plan that has so many benefits that actually have perks and money savings. Highly recommend them!
I’ve been going here for about 2 years now. All the hygienist have been super nice and professional. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Walker and it was the best experience ever. It was so quick. Everyone at the front desk is so sweet, especially Adria! I’ve even cried during a cavity filling because I was scared and overwhelmed by the process (it was my first filling). They did not make me feel awkward or bad for crying. I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences here!!

I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist but this place has a wonderful Staff! The ladies in the front are so friendly, I always enjoy chit chatting with them. Fallon, the Dental Hygienist is super nice and is always informative. Dr. Walker is great as well always a pleasure talking to him. He really does care about his patients and wants to make sure that we are taking proper care. Overall a great place and service is always great!
This entire Dental Office Team is really top notch. Dr Walcker is my Dentist & the level of quality care that he provides is unprecedented. It’s excellent quality care with no pain (even his shots don’t hurt). The rest of the staff are also incredible, from the hygienists to the professionals, at the front desk. Everyone is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. My family has been going here for well over a decade and I don’t plan to leave.
