Calling the front desk here in Manhattan is a nightmare. She either says no or that the manager is busy, then hangs up hastily. You try to ask more, but she just says no. Super frustrating when you need help with appointment scheduling or questions.

First time at this Manhattan clinic and my teeth cleaning with Dr. Sun felt super rushed compared to my usual cleanings—I get them twice a year! She was chill though, and her nails were cute, LOL. But the dental assistant at my station was ridiculous. He called my teeth "weird," my partial retainer "weird," and asked insensitive questions about my gender identity. Had been with Dr. Yeh for over 2.5 years with no issues. Last month, I called to reschedule my regular cleaning and the front desk said Dr. Yeh was fired, recommending Dr. Amber Sun instead. I confirmed Dr. Yeh was gone, then went to my appointment with Dr. Sun. My teeth were healthy with no pain, and I'm still doing Invisalign. After cleaning, she said everything was fine but mentioned two teeth had dents from brushing and asked if I wanted fillings on the spot. I was like, does my insurance cover that? Felt pushy.

Personally, the front desk staff here in Manhattan are amazing—I'd give them 10/10. I always arrive 5 minutes early and only waited 5 minutes. No issues except with one young female dentist who made everything feel rushed. Never caught her name because she was so speedy in a bad way. She rushed my cleaning, was super aggressive on my gums, hacking and scraping hard like she had somewhere to be. I floss daily and clean well, so not sure why it was so intense. Avoid her if you can.

Pretty clean place in Manhattan, and the dentists' work is good—worth the money if you don't have insurance. But avoid Dr. Michelle. She cleaned my teeth, then said I needed a root canal and fillings. I told her I'd have to wait since I don't have insurance right now, but she kept pushing, even asking, "When are you going to have insurance?" Then she rushed the job, and my teeth hurt a bit. Another downside is the waiting time—sometimes 15 minutes, sometimes almost 30, even with appointments. Understand they want to fit people in, but it's frustrating.

The best dentist in downtown
时间过了这么久，我一直都不能释怀，之前又回到这家疹所让我的肠子都悔青了。我永远都不会原谅台湾的叶医生，因为他的不专业和缺乏同理心而让我深受其害，从而让我的生活质量直线下降。首先是在我没有明确同意的情况下就拔了我另外两颗可以保留还有咀嚼功能的上大牙，我发现后快崩溃了，别说上大牙植牙难度高风险大，而且费用也不低。打电话质问他竟然跟你说拔一颗牙也不好拔，我无语了，这是什么操作？还振振有词的说我签名同意的上面写着三颗牙清清楚楚。OK！我签名只是拔那颗裂开的牙而已，你不能我签名了你就可以想拔几颗就拔几颗吧？然后再在单子上写上拔哪几颗牙。因为那两颗是可以保留的牙齿，还不到无可救药非拔不可的地步，是个专业的医生都不会拔掉它。我就问了你一句我那两颗牙不痛不痒的我为什么要拔掉？你怎么哑口无言了？真牙总比假牙好吧？病人的需求都没有搞清楚，病人的感受都可以不顾，请问医生的医德、责任心在哪里？还有就吐槽一下这个医生的耐心不足，之前在这里洗了两次普通洗牙，都不给你洗干净，都是五分钟匆匆完事，然后说你要做深层洗牙。好吧，申请了深层洗牙，洗了一半，洗另一半的时候麻药都懒得给你打，直接把麻醉剂涂在牙龈上就给你洗了，问他怎么不打麻药，他说已经涂了很多麻醉剂上面。也是匆匆完事了，跟普通洗牙差不多。后来没多久也不知道是不是这个原因牙龈感染了导致我的牙周炎发作了。我想这个操作合不合适可能只有医生自己清楚，作为医生不能照顾到病人而只关心自已的情绪和利益就是严重的失职！希望他以后能多点同理心吧。
一個手勢不錯但卻不太鳥你的醫生……。
第一次到 “卓越牙科診所”看牙醫，他們的醫生為我檢查後然後說：我上腭的牙齒不要動它：能用多久是多久，因我的牙腳被蛀了：不值得再做什麼，之後我要求他為我修補其中一隻牙齒他也不肯，他說要麼就把所有牙齒全都拔掉、要麼就什麼也不要做：待牙齒不能用時再把它拔掉然後做一副假牙……。
可這樣不就讓我的牙齒自生自滅了嗎？假若我要修補現在的這顆牙齒或其它牙齒其中一隻壞掉便要全部拔掉：不然我目前依靠其它牙齒支撐的假牙便不能再用了……。
醫生沒有管我，跟著他又說：我下腭的牙齒有三顆要做牙冠：然後我下腭的假牙也須重新再做，保險只包假牙及兩個牙冠：其中一個我得自行付費；
我問醫生費用是多少他並沒有明確的告訴我，於是我便跟醫生說：保障不包的部份我有保障現金卡可代為支付，那裡的金額足夠支付？護理替我查看了一下現金卡說可以：於是醫生便開始為我做牙冠，牙冠做好後他們便把我現金卡裡的$750全都擦走：且還收我好像是三十五美元的手續費……。
那時我問他們我做的是什麼材質的牙冠？有那樣貴嗎？！
他們說因我是用保險的現金卡：他們只是就現金卡裡的金額收我的費用而已，「意思好像是已收便宜了我」然後吱唔不清的說我做的是陶瓷質料的牙冠，但我在綱上查過，陶瓷質料的牙冠一般最高也就五百五十美元罷了！
話說：做牙冠時：醫生要求我把上腭的假牙給他好讓他印模，但他沒有給我一副臨時的假牙：我把假牙給他那我不就沒法吃東西了嗎？可醫生沒有管我：只說必須用假牙印模這樣才能準確無誤做出我所須要的牙冠來；
不論什麼理由：我不可能兩三個星期不吃或只吃流質的東西的，因此我與醫生一直僵持在這個問題上，之後護理給我再約時間回去鑲三顆臨時的牙冠：並讓我在此之前考慮是否要給醫生假牙印牙模，但我沒了假牙吃不了東西我能考慮什麼？我要考慮是在沒有假牙的這段期間我能否只吃流質食物甚至不吃東西嗎？！
之後我回到診所鑲了三顆臨的牙冠：這時醫生仍要讓我把假牙給他但卻沒有給我任何解決的方法：因而就這個問題我與醫生一再僵持……，但最後醫生也作出妥協給我連同假牙一起直接印模！
印了牙模後我吃東西時才發覺原來那臨時的牙冠也能幫助我吃東西的，但那時診所的人已下班：於是隔天我便打電話回診所問他們是否還需要用我的假牙來印模，但那時護理說牙模已送到工廠現在已不再需要了……。
之後牙冠做好了：那牙冠做得相當恰當：一次過便能到位沒有任何須要修改的地方！
在這情況下我不知該讚醫生的手勢了得還是該責怪醫生當初為何要一直堅持讓我把假牙給他而莫視我進食的須要才好？！
牙冠做好後於是醫生便開始為我做假牙，我到診所印了三次牙模經過一個多月的時間假牙也做好後醫生為我稍作調整那假牙也如牙冠般一次過便到位！
牙冠與假牙也都做好後我問醫生那我上腭的牙齒怎樣？真的什麼也不能做：待它用到不能再用時便把它全都拔掉嗎？但問題到底出在哪為何定要拔掉能為我解釋一下嗎？！
但醫生並沒怎樣管我：他只讓護理跟我說因我的牙腳蛀了再做什麼也沒用……。
這個我當然知道，但我不明白的是：之前我在 “王嘉廉牙科診所”就因我的牙腳蛀了那裡的醫生才為我作出修補，可若因我的牙齒經過修補很快便不能再用：那是否那時醫生便該為我把牙齒拔掉而不應浪費時間修補讓它苟延殘喘？是否我的牙齒還能繼續在用他們才會為我修補而不把它拔掉？我只想醫生能明確讓我知道相關情況好讓我了解然後作出判斷，因我不能說醫生讓我拔掉我便把它拔掉的啊！
可那裡的醫生就是不跟我廢話：什麼也只讓護理跟我說：而護理也只重複醫生的說話：我的牙腳蛀了必須要把它全都脫掉……。
我無奈只好回家，回家後我心有不甘於是又打電話回診所問他們的護理：我的牙齒是否真的己惡化到一個非脫不可的程度？因我糾結的問題是醫生一直也沒有明確地讓我了解我的情況，可護理說他們只是護理怎能代醫生解釋我的情況？於是便讓我另約時間回到診所向醫生作 “諮詢”；
我本以為我另約時間作諮詢醫生必定會花時間為我作一較詳細的解釋讓我了解我的情況的；
08/11/2023我到診所後：醫生並沒因我今天到來主要是向他諮詢而為我釋除疑慮，他還是那句：我的牙腳蛀了必須要脫掉……，且在我約見醫生前幾天：我其中的一顆牙齒意外地被弄斷了！是 “意外”而非我牙腳被蛀的問題；
我的牙被弄斷：跟著便開始發炎及腫痛：且還波及其它牙齒，就這個問題我也告訴了醫生，可醫生卻全不管我，「我想醫生的意思就如他之前說的：我的牙齒能用多久是多久：用到不能再用時便把它全都脫掉，要是這樣那我掉了一顆牙齒還管它作甚」？醫生只問我要否把其它牙齒也一起脫掉然後裝上一副假牙！
但在我未明情況的前提下我怎能把所有牙齒也都脫掉？在這問題上我與醫生沒能達至共識：於是我便抖出另一問題：我告訴醫生我新裝的假牙有點鬆動讓他替我調整一下，醫生替我調整好後：但因由太鬆變得太緊因而令我的牙齒痛了好幾天……，但我不能為一點小問題而再約時間去見一個不太鳥我的醫生：於是我便自行調整一下，經調整過後現在不鬆也不緊剛好！
我說醫生不太鳥我除了他不怎樣與我溝通外：就連我牙齒發炎腫痛並斷掉的牙能否接回他也沒有為我開消炎或止痛的藥物：牙齒能否接回他還是讓護理告訴我：我那顆牙齒已是沒用的了：把它丟了吧！僅此而已……。

No issue with my dentist—he was great. But the front desk staff in this Manhattan office are dishonest, deliberately overcharging and refusing to talk to the doctor until I refused to leave, then they refunded the difference. I'd seen it happen before in Chinese and thought it was a misunderstanding until it happened to me. Still have more work needed, but don't trust this place anymore for credit card payments or anything else.

Ever since I moved across state, I had trouble finding a reliable dentist. Finally found this place in Manhattan and after today, I had to give them 5 stars! Been loyal for a few years now and totally satisfied. The whole office is caring and patient, especially with me—I get nervous about visits, but they're super professional and try their best to make me comfortable. This dental office was very modern and clean and the staff was very efficient. I had x-rays, cleaning and a filling done in less than an hour! Dr. Fang explained what he was doing every step of the way and really made sure that I was confortable and didn't feel any pain. I couldn't have asked for a better dentist experience!
