Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of follow-through here. Came in for a cleaning back in January or February and needed an insurance estimate for a crown, but they never called me back. Mentioned it at my next cleaning and got the crown appointment set up, but then I paid over $200 upfront for sedation medication that was never called into my pharmacy. Walked in the Thursday before the procedure to sort it out, but the front desk person didn't seem to care. Really frustrating experience overall.

I do not recommend this place. I broke a tooth and they sent me to an endodontist where I had to pay $700 for paste on a tooth that was already perforated with cavities—they never told me even though it showed on X-rays. After that, no follow-up call. The endodontist personally called them to explain, and all they did was schedule a cleaning, not address the ongoing problem. Feels like they just care about money.

I love Dr. Mack and the crew! When I call to make appts its like talking to friends(Hi Amber!). Dr. Mack doesn't sugarcoat or BS me- just how I like it! Not bad on pricing either, or either my insurance picks up a lot.

They charge way too much, especially if you're on Medicaid or a budget. They often ignore patient concerns and push for more expensive procedures just to make money. The staff and assistants are nice, but after 4 years of sub-par work that other dentists had to fix, I'm done. Not coming back.

I came in for a special deal they were running a few years ago. I was told I had 4 cavities that all needed to be fixed and it would be $800. I'd never had a cavity my entire life so I was skeptical and did nothing about it. Followed up later with my hometown dentist who found these four spots but said they were in the outer layer of the tooth which did not require filling in his opinion. This layer can actually heal itself or stay the same for years without any work. That was a few years ago and these spots are still fine. Can't believe I would've paid $800 and had 4 fillings that weren't necessary had I not gone somewhere else!

I have a bad dental phobia due to Army Dentists. I seen Dr. McCartney and it was great. I had a tooth extracted and there was no pain. Even the following day I did not have to take any meds.
On additional visits it was pain free and his staff is great. The office staff as well as the dental tec are very customer conscious and caring. I would recommend to anyone needing dental treatment.

I have been a patient now for several years. I have had many procedures done ranging from cleaning to root canals, crowns, inlays and one extraction. All have been handled with professionalism and the highest degree of courtesy and skill from the entire staff.
I do not envy anyone who has to deal with the payment portion of any transaction that involves an insurance company. It gets complicated trying to keep up with how much they are willing to pay for which procedures, how much you are allowed per year for what...all that jazz. Thankfully, I do not have to deal with it. It is handled for me by professionals who truly have my best interests at heart. Any discrepency between my billfold and the insurance folks has always been handled quickly and to my total satisfaction, as I'm sure it was for Mr. Harnage.

My wife and I have used Adel Dental Associates as our dental provider for the past fourteen years. We could not be happier with Dr. McCartney and his staff. Dr. McCartney goes out of his way to accomodate his patients needs. Several weeks ago he opened his office on a closed day and came in to repair a broken denture for my wife. We recommend Adel Dental Associates to all of our friends and neighbors.

Not the best place! One I found out they were double billing me and my insurance. Secondly, they always seem to not know what is going on. I had an appointment and some how it disappeared in there systems. They have always been very short with me. when I am in there. And last, I frankly don't trust them with the shirt on my back. The $10 gas card isn't even worth filling out this form and I won't be picking it up because I am changing dentist from all the problems I have had to deal with this dentist and the people that work for him. The only reason I choose this doctor is because it is closer than Tifton, but It has be a pain in the butt ever since I moved to the area.
