Outstanding practice. Mindy Poteat was very impressive not only with her exceptional care but her knowledge was superior. This was my first visit. The office staff was friendly and professional. Felt so comfortable from the moment I walked in. Dr. Babcock and his assistant (I think Monica?) were awesome—didn't feel a thing for three tiny cavities. Clean, friendly, and great communication. Fantastic team in Venice!

I 100% recommend Advanced Dental of Englewood. I’ve been seen by Dr. Davis, hygienist Mindy and Dental Assistant Michelle. Everyone here is knowledgeable, courteous, upbeat and efficient. Dr. Davis has helped me with a couple issues and I couldn’t ask for a better dentist. Mindy and Michelle are both very kind, gentle and patient.

I've been a patient for years and loved the cleanings. But I booked an appointment in August 2025, flew down from Michigan specifically, and when I checked in, they said they no longer accept my insurance. The front desk asked, 'Don't you have a dentist up there?' I live in Florida! Not telling me beforehand was totally unacceptable.

I was so happy I chose Advanced Dental. I recently move to the area and unfortunately broke my front tooth. It’s not easy to choose a dentist, especially when you’re not particularly fond of them. Advanced Dental was a great choice. Donna and Dr. Davis took such great care of me. They were very professional, very clear on what they were doing to fix my tooth and pain-free! I haven’t seen a dentist in a few years. My hygienist, Alison was amazing! I’ve always been told I need to floss better but was never actually shown how to floss. Alison had me hold a mirror while she flossed my teeth and I realized I’ve been flossing incorrectly my whole life. I would highly recommend Advanced Dental Care of Englewood. If you’re lucky enough to get Alison, even better!

Very impressed! Got me in right away to reset my crown, staff was so helpful and friendly, Dentist did over and above to make sure mouth was healthy to reset crown. Explained everything as she went along. Office was very bright and cheery and very tidy. I have found my dentist I’ll be staying with!

As a new patient, I had a great experience. The hygienist was excellent—professional, thorough, and kind. Also had prep work for a crown; the dentist and assistant did great work, explained everything, and made sure the temporary was good before I left. 10/10 for the whole Venice team!

The dentist at Advanced Dental in Sarasota was , rough and did not take proper precautions for safety . I swallowed several pieces of matter. Almost happened again yesterday but It has been documented and discussed with my witness Dawn the assistant of Caryn Davis. Had my bridge put in by Caryn Davis on 6/ 9/ 25. I will never forget the rudeness and therefore will not return for treatment. Beware of this dentist for treatment Find someone who is concerned for your treatment.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Advanced Dental Care. From the moment I sat down, I could tell this wasn’t going to go well.
The dentist Dr. Davis was incredibly rude and seemed rushed, as if she couldn’t be bothered to listen to my concerns. I had questions about the procedure, but the dentist Dr. Davis barely took the time to answer them, brushing me off with short, dismissive responses.
It felt like they were just trying to get through the appointment as quickly as possible rather than providing proper care. The whole process felt rushed and unprofessional, and I left the office feeling unsettled and uncomfortable. I also felt that my pain and discomfort were completely ignored. I will NOT be back.
Overall, it was an unpleasant experience, and I will definitely be looking for a new dentist. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values attentive, respectful care.

Went for a second opinion and a consultation on possibly switching Dentists. The staff and Dr Caryn Davis couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. They were all very thorough with all of my concerns. Definitely found me a new dental office!! Highly recommend
