Seriously, if you're nervous about the dentist, this is the place in Akron. I had a lot of anxiety going in, but Dr. Mendel and the whole team made me feel so comfortable. They never made me feel bad about my fears. Megan and Janette explained everything clearly and respectfully, and Sarah was always there to help. The front desk, Michelle and Me, were super welcoming too. I trust them completely with my dental care now. Couldn't be happier with my choice.

I recommend this dental office to everyone! First visit was about a week ago—peaceful atmosphere, clean office, and the music was really uplifting. Front desk staff were professional and kind, and the assistants made me feel like we'd known each other for years. They listened to all my questions. Had a great experience at the Alpha Dental office in the Acme Plaza in Akron. They got me in the next day, which was awesome. Communication was excellent from start to finish. The doctor was very kind and explained everything clearly without talking down to me. Overall, a smooth and pleasant visit. Definitely recommend this office for quality dental care in Akron.

This is the best dental office I have ever been to! I avoided getting my teeth worked on for years because I had very painful experiences at other offices, but the staff here are beyond amazing. I normally see Dr Mendel and Megan, who are angels in disguise, but everyone that works here has been kind beyond compare. They are very patient, understanding and gentle in their trade! I truly feel like they care and want to help you with their best effort. When I had teeth removed and came out of anesthesia, I think Michelle even helped walk me out of the office! If you are nervous and don't know where to get the treatment you need, you can rely on the staff at Alpha Dental Akron:)
They got us in faster than I expected. My teen needed a root canal. We had an appointment 2 days after the consultation appointment!!!! I am so happy they were able to do the for her. All of the staff is moving here. Everyone has there part and does it. The lady's at the front desk are lovely. Side bonus, enough people come here that I reconnected with an old friend.

This is a really great office with a great environment. The girls at the front desk are so sweet and welcoming, Dr. Mendel was very informative in educating me on what work I needed done, they are very accommodating as after my very first visit they scheduled me for my fillings the very next day. And Janette was very efficient. My last office wasn’t a great experience so this is definitely an upgrade, I highly recommend them.
I switched to Alpha Dental after my old dentist referred me to them for a procedure he was unable to perform. I had such a great experience that I decided to switch to them for all of my dental work needs. The staff is professional and attentive and always available to help. All of the staff is great but Michelle and Melaina at the front desk are top notch as is the staff in the back Sarah, Megan and Janette and of course Dr Mendel is wonderful.
Highly recommended. Michelle and Melaina are the best, super helpful and kind. Dr. Mendel has been my favorite Doc ever.

Love this place. My kids are normally never the dentist. Front desk ladies Michelle and Melaina are friendly a courteous. Megan the dental assistant put my kid’s fears to rest and answered their questions with patience and kindness. Dr. Mendel was friendly and was able to examine my kids with patience and willing to explain his findings so my children understood.
One of the best dentists in Akron, no question. I've lived here most of my life and been to quite a few, but this one is the best. They schedule you quickly, and when you arrive they treat you like a person. I had severe dental anxiety and couldn't stop shaking during my first appointment—nobody made me feel bad, and one of the techs helped calm me down. They've been doing an amazing job restoring my teeth after some genetic issues and wisdom teeth problems. Quick, efficient, and kind.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed. They were super friendly and helpful. They helped me through the whole process and also helped with some Insurence discrepancies. They were super patient and kind. My daughter is healing nicely. I would definitely recommend Alpha Dental.
