Dr. Bench stayed After hours Thursday to take care of my dental issue. Then he came in Friday morning on his day off to do a root canal. I’ve been going to Dr. Bench for over nine years now and would never go anywhere else. If you want a top-of-the-line, Dentist and Office staff, Atlantic dental is the only place to go.
Being a business owner my expectations of my team was if up most important. The staff at Atlantic Dental are beyond expectations. They all made me feel comfortable throughout the visits. My wife andI have been a patient for over 2 years. I have recommended Atlantic Dental to many people. I would like to give special shoutout to Laurina, Kat , Ashlee patty and of course Dr Bench. My first visit with Dr. Frederickson at Atlantic Dental in Toms River was excellent—he was amazing, thorough, and compassionate. I needed a root canal and more dental work due to infections under a bridge, back in June. But things went downhill after that, and it wasn't the doctor's fault. Despite good insurance, the paperwork got messed up with requests Atlantic Dental didn't respond to, which was really frustrating.

Recently had 2 visits here with some pain in the lower left side, then for a cleaning. Both visits the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, Lauren and Kat were very personable to someone who has not been to the dentist in way too long. Definitely recommend them if you have that “dentist anxiety” like I did.
I have major fear/anxiety for dental work. Dr. Fredericks is incredible! Zero pain, very comforting & super nice. Great office staff too.
Dr. Bench and his staff are the nicest people from the time you arrive until the time you check out. They are very friendly and always willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. My experience with Atlantic Dental was the worst I’ve ever had. My filling fell out in a week, and in my experience they took no accountability. They made me come in just to tell me I’d have to pay again, something they could’ve easily said over the phone. The dentist didn’t even come check the tooth or explain anything; they had the receptionist talk to me. It all felt like they were only interested in taking more money. I was extremely disappointed. Would not recommend coming here.
Can't say enough good things about Atlantic Dental in Toms River, NJ. I've been a patient for 3 years and moved my whole family here. Dr. Bench is a pro—highly skilled at painless dentistry and genuinely cares. They take time to discuss procedures and answer questions, so I'm not scared of visits anymore. First appt here today after being afraid of the dentist for years. They were all so sweet. From the hygienist, to the dentist and back to the ladies at the desk. Everyone was amazing, reassuring me (a rather anxious person) through out my appointment, explaining everything in detail. Everyone was just super friendly. They see to communicate with one another very well also, which is reassuring as a patient. I’ll be returning for further dental work.
