My tooth extraction at this Jacksonville office was really rough. The anesthesia didn't work properly, and they rushed through giving more injections. The extraction itself was painful and felt careless—like they were handling an object, not a person. Didn't seem hygienic either, and the antiseptic treatment was skipped. Still hurting a week later. The cost for emergency dental services here in Atlantic Beach was way too high for this experience.

My experience at this Jacksonville dental office was pretty disappointing. They couldn't give me an out-of-pocket cost until the last minute, and the diagnosis didn't match what another dentist told me. Felt like they were pushing unnecessary treatments while missing the real issue. The staff wasn't very informative during my visit, and I was left waiting alone while they chatted in the back. The exam felt rushed, and the fees seemed way higher than other places in Atlantic Beach.

I had a abscess lower jaw tooth today that was horrifying painful. I had made them more than aware of the pain. After a couple of tooth pics taken it turned out to be on a tooth that had a previous root canal and a crown. Because of this it could not be fixed and had to be pulled. (that was what I was told). Office Manager came in and shared pricing. Wow definitely the $ elite Dental Office for the beaches. Because of the severe pain I asked for Nitrous Oxide. I have only used it a few times in the past and it always was about $100 bucks. It was $345. Nitrous Oxide is not an expensive gas that was an outrageous price in fact it cost more than removing the tooth! 2 hours later the tooth was finally out. It was extremely hard to remove. I had layers of stitches. The nova-cane has fully worn off now and it’s aching. I was called in a antibiotic and 800mg of Ibuprofen!! NO pain meds…..nothing! I have no record of taking pain meds often. But I tell you I will never let them touch me ever again. When my friends and family members called tonight to see how I was doing….not one of them could believe I was not given pain pills! They all had less serious and way less procedures And their Dentists would neve even think of not providing pain meds. If you choose to be a high end $ Dental Office (being the highest cost office at the beaches) then you should absolutely make sure you go overboard taking care that your patients and at least make sure they are not having pain. Also, this says it all they want high prices but no taking care of their patients after they leave the office! The Dentist never even cared enough to call me and see how I was doing after that extremely hard tooth extraction. Who does that? WILD.
Thank you for the feedback. The treatment plan coordinator reviewed the out of pocket with you prior to treatment with you and you did sign off on treatment. Lastly, we did give you medication at that appointment and again today. We will review this feedback with our team.
I had a wonderful visit to Atlantic Dentistry! I needed a cleaning, and everyone was incredibly kind. Their treatment was excellent, and they have a wonderful way of making you feel relaxed through their patient care.
Everything from initial phone call to walking out of office was excellant . Extremely through with billing, insurance plan for treatment and answering any questions. I am on 2nd day after getting cavities done, one extraction, and a root canal. I'm very pleased. No jaw pain from having my mouth open for an extended amount of time. My only complaint is I didn't get a lollypop. Just kidding (maybe) ;-)
The people are so nice and helpful. They have all the most updated technology. They have tech that I have never seen at any dentist before that helps them better assess your teeth/gums and any issues or to increase your comfort. They offer solutions without judgement. It is my favorite dentist, and I really don't like going to the dentist.

What an amazing dental clinic here in Jacksonville! The dentist did my filling quickly and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Mel, my hygienist, was the best—she actually showed me pictures and explained why flossing matters so much. Even the front desk staff handling my copay was super sweet. Came here at 34 weeks pregnant for a new patient exam , they immediately made me feel comfortable and everyone was so nice . No one made me feel bad about not seeing a dentist in a while . They got me set up for a cleaning for after my baby is born and it was easy to schedule my appointment a hour before my partners appointment so we could swap who was going to watch our 2 year old. I feel more at ease with coming back for my cleaning soon .
I just came today as a new patient and everyone was so nice and professional. Ms.Kaylee, the assistant that took my X-Rays, she made sure I was comfortable from the second she took me from the waiting area. I informed her I had back problems and she immediately went and got a blanket for me to put behind me and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I have went to other dental offices and the people who normally took x rays did not speak any, today she talked to me the entire time and made me forget I was at the dentist. The doctor and the hygienist were very polite and communicative!I would recommend this place to anyone I know!

Good looking office, friendly staff, I love Jojo (cleaning procedure), and a new doctor from Cuba-super nice woman, you can tell that she is trying to do her best. I did not have bad experience since my first visit with any procedures they did so far. The only few things that made me feel frustrated are: there is a feeling from time to time that they are in a rush to get procedures done; on one of the appointments I had to wait about 40+ min before doctor took care of my root canal which took him 15 minutes to get it done because like I was told he was behind since morning. You guys could at least try to reschedule appt if you already knew that someone behind. I understand-human factors but at the same time we all busy and to make this time cost me money and I pay out of pocket a lot as well. And another thing that I do not understand is when financial team says “we review claims and get back with you” and it never happens. It resolved because insurance lady provided me with all info I had questions about now
Never had such a great dentist visit before finding Atlantic Dentistry here in Jacksonville. The whole office is super clean, and everyone was so friendly and attentive.
