Dr. John G. in Augusta, GA has been amazing—he always arranges for an interpreter and takes the time to explain everything about my dental implants and oral surgery. What really got me is that he's actually learning sign language himself. After some pretty awful experiences elsewhere, I finally feel safe and cared for. So grateful for him and his whole team.

Me and my grandmother have been urgently looking for a dental clinic. Called the front desk to schedule, waited 30 minutes, and nobody picked up—not even a hold message. Someone's not doing their job. Really disappointing for emergency dental care needs in Augusta.

After 15 years as a patient, I couldn't get an appointment for 3 months. When I asked to have my dental records sent to my new dentist (since I moved 3 hours away), they insisted I come in person to sign a release. No alternative was offered. Found the staff extremely rude and unhelpful. They really need a way to transfer records without making patients drive all the way back to Augusta.

Bad service, wasted 30 minutes of our times and still told us that we had to reschedule, and their employees were not well trained. They said we can arrive at 11:15 but no later , we arrived at 11:14 but they did not let us in. When we are early we still have to wait 30 minutes, and when we are right on times they still won’t let us in. Also every time we had to drive 40-45 minutes here and they didn’t have empathy for us.

Honestly, even just calling to make an appointment was a positive experience. Ms. Cathy got my insurance loaded, got me in quickly, and even estimated costs for my visit. She actually walked back to say hello! Dr. Latour did a thorough exam and took time to chat about what she found. For someone anxious about cosmetic dentistry, she made it all feel calm and understandable. Great staff and care here in Augusta.

Been trying to reach them for months. Last time I called, the guy laughed when I said I had a referral and told me it'd take 6 months for an appointment. I'm 18, my regular dentist and another oral surgeon said I need a cap ASAP for wisdom teeth removal, but this is the only place that takes my insurance. Now I'm up at 5am in pain writing this. Hope they see it and call.

Called to get a list of some prostadontists that were in the practice and the woman who answered the phone was short and said there were alot. I had alot done in the past here and that how a patient gets treated. Ill be going else where.

Two stars only because the initial visit was kind. My daughter needs braces for orthodontics, and this is the only place that takes her insurance. We were told she'd get braces around April, but two weeks before the appointment they rescheduled. Then in June they said another 6 months due to staff changes. Not our fault. Very frustrating.

Dr. Griffin and his assistant Karen were great—explained everything and went the extra mile. But the front desk staff (check-in and check-out) were extremely unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. I'm a physician myself and was stunned. They charged me wrong, and when I politely asked about it, the lady got rude. Such a shame because the doctors are competent.

Looking for a new dental clinic because of the negative energy here. I was late for my appointment due to unavoidable stuff, they checked me in, but as I walked to the back, three staff were talking loudly about a 'late patient' and one said 'That's disrespectful to the doctor!' They glared at me. I get being annoyed, but no need to be nasty. Just felt awful.

First visit was nice, staff friendly. Hoping my oral surgery goes well, but I'm worried about reaching them after. I was on hold over an hour, and when I finally got someone, she said they're short-handed and would try to get the oral surgery department to answer. Seems like they're short-handed every day, no matter when I call.
