Honestly, this place is more advanced than any dentist I've been to before. They use pressurized water tools for cleaning, take digital x-rays, and even have visual imaging to track changes over time. Plus they take thorough notes. I feel really well taken care of here in Federal Way.

First time at Avalon today. My wife has been trying to get me to come here and swap for awhile and went in today. Best experience I've had at a dentist in my life. Very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I had to delay a few times due to being sick and there was no issues. Marie does the new patients and she's amazing. Id come back just for the interactions I had with her. She informed me about many things to make my dental hygiene even better. Aside from that they have very updated x-rays, you get a full 3D imaging of your mouth while there and a print out. Really helps to find underlying issues. Overall 10/10

If you're a student interested in dentistry and need observation hours, Avalon Family Dentistry is a great place for you. Unlike my previous shadowing experience, where the hygienist was rude and completely ignored me, the team here was welcoming and skilled. Hygienist Diana was talkative and made patients feel at ease while ensuring a thorough cleaning. Hygienist Julia was kind, engaging in small talks with patients and working with great precision to guarantee there is zero mistake in her work. Though I didn’t observe Marie much, she seemed excellent as well. Their professionalism and kindness have set a great example, and I aspire to bring the same level of care and attentiveness as a future hygienist. Dr. Hannah, the assistants, and front desk manager Tanya were all kind. They made sure to provide the best service as possible to their patients. What stood out most to me was how well the team knows their patients, personalizing care to ensure everyone leaves happily. They also support each other very well, working seamlessly as a team to keep the office running smoothly and providing the best care possible.

I have been going to Avalon dentistry for over 28 years. My whole family has. My 3 kids have been going all their lives. So friendly, caring, and gentle. My kids used to fall asleep during cleaning.
