Also had a really bad experience: the dental hygienist was so rude, called my teeth ugly several times (pic included of my 'ugly' teeth). I have some issues from childhood, but that's an awful thing to say to a patient. Anyway, please stop calling me in New York, NY.

This place in New York is awful. First, they chipped my tooth in the past—I overlooked it and gave another chance. Then, they booked me for an appointment but 'mistakenly' overbooked and couldn't accommodate me. Absolutely horrible, and they were rude on top of it. Won't be going back here; it's unprofessional for emergency dental services or anything else.

Strongly advise avoiding Nadia, the hygienist at Dr. Samuel Rudick's dental office in Manhattan, New York. She's incredibly rough and careless during cleanings—kept jabbing tool handles into my teeth, making it painful. When I mentioned it, she snapped back with attitude and said, 'Next time I'll just sedate you.' No apology, just sarcasm. A dental cleaning should never feel like that; her technique is harsh and attitude is worse.

Had a complete upper denture installed with implants at this New York office after a year of prep work three years ago. The day of installation, a 'specialist' came in complaining they didn't have the right bits to grind and fit the denture plate—I heard it all during the work. Should've run then. Since relocating out of state, I've had nothing but problems: two of four implants failed, and the denture keeps chipping. Terrible experience with dental implants here.

Tara, the dental assistant, was the best: really caring, even dried my face when water got on it, and super attentive. I had such an amazing experience. Staff is very friendly and warming which makes the experience so much better. I went for my cleaning, and "B" did such a wonderful job. I have sensitive teeth and I typically feel pain when someone is cleaning my teeth, but with her; I felt no pain at all. Another great perk is that they are open on 2 Saturdays per month which works with my schedule.
I have been a patient of this office for many years. Today I called in for a different reason, my mother needed an emergency consultation and did not have an appointment and had never been a patient here before. However, they immediately accommodated her; her visit and consultation were both a sweet experience, as mine have always been. Kindest people I have ever encountered.
The appointment was super easy to make. As a matter of fact, I was going to take any appt but when I told them I was in pain, the person I spoke took an even bigger interest in my situation and said to consider going that same day and that she could get me in an hour from when I called.
I got there, they were ready to see me, took xrays (which went very smoothly) and the dentist saw me shortly after that. The dentist comprised a plan quickly of what needed to be done. She prescribed medicine for my infection.
The office has the nicest, most caring and patient staff I've ever come across. It seems that everyone is trained so well that they know what each other staff has to accomplish and they are all on the same page. Amazing !
The office staff were all great with my 3 young sons! Zero wait time, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a very positive vibe and caring environment. Follow up appointments were made quickly and they sent each kid home with a tooth goody bag! So glad they see adults too because I and my husband will be switching and have Dr R and his staff will be our new family dental office!
I visited this office due to fallen crown from other Dentist in different location and these guys were able to repair crown and were very professional, hospitable and very polite. Made me feel so comfortable that I decided to make them my regular Dentist and complete future work needed. I would gladly recommend them to all friends and family looking for great service. Never thought I would say I enjoyed going to the dentist, but the staff is so friendly I am happy to go to the dentist and chat with people who seem more like friends then staff. They always find a way to fit me in their schedule, and do a great job. I personally recommend Dr.Shin, not only does he do an excellent job but he keeps you thoroughly entertained the whole way through (along with his support staff.).
