Not only is she the best dentist, but the whole staff is super friendly. From Eva welcoming me and setting up appointments to Agnes doing my cleanings — everyone makes me feel like family. In late 2024, Dr. Tu said I needed 3 fillings and a crown. I got a second opinion, and that dentist said the tiny crack on my molar was common and crowning it would be 'completely unnecessary' and 'such a shame.' Also, two of the 'cavities' were just mild decay from having braces and not brushing well — not true cavities. So I only had one real cavity. Yet I was told I needed over two thousand dollars of work. Extremely disappointing. For general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry in Sunnyvale, I expected honesty.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this place with my family ever since I was in my little age (I wanna say ever since I was in fifth grade), and this place really takes care of you when it comes to your teeth. They really put forefront first what it means to be yourself. In the past, we’ve had no problem about setting up appointments for quarterly teeth cleanings, wisdom teeth removals, and more.
The service at this dental place is phenomenal — I would recommend anybody needing a new dentist or hygiene place to check this one out. Not only do they have the best doctors like Dr. Tu and Dr. Lee, but they also have dental assistants that make sure every experience that you have is worthwhile.

Regular cleaning and exam appointment was setup quickly. Promptly met by the nurse to do a set of x-rays before the cleaning/exam started by the dentist. Overall experience was very attentive and professional, with clear communications of the dental health status, and area that needs to be monitored and looked at in the next scheduled cleaning/exam visit. Dr. Lee is a reliable professional. He had installed a dental implant for me in 2014. The implant is still functioning. Whenever I have any implant questions I always go to his clinic. He has been very helpful and I highly recommend him.

My wife came in to get two veneers on her front teeth. They have never lasted beyond two years and have struggled to keep them on. We’ve gotten a second review from a very expensive clinic on the east coast and they pointed out that the color was off, the bond was not properly done, and the veneers are now causing her to have gingivitis on her two front teeth. She has come in before to Bay Smile to have them fixed within 2 years of them being put in and we were charged again for the fix. I would have hoped they would have covered the cost to fix what was supposed to last 8-10 years. Incredibly frustrating and disheartening as a partner to watch my wife suffer through this heartache time and time again. Oh and she had to get them taken off originally at Bay Smile as the color was off. Not a very professional clinic. Good luck if you’re getting veneers here. I would go to a specialist instead of here.

I had one of my tooth pulled and new implant was installed by Dr. Lee. During the whole process, he has been very careful and informative. the office is modern equipped with latest technology and very clean/safe especially in this pandemic period. all office staff are friendly, they always remind you a few days before the appointment and follow up the next day after your visit.
