Had my dental visit yesterday and paid out of pocket—pretty disappointed with the service. After the x-ray, waited an hour in the room with no updates. The cleaning person spent maybe ten minutes, seemed kinda rude, and didn't clean my gums well. Felt like I just brushed at home. Lost time and $150 for nothing at this Staten Island, NY, office.

This dental office in Staten Island, NY, told my wife on the phone—with my teenage son listening in excruciating pain—'sounds like we have to pull his front tooth' without even examining him. Came home to a devastated family. Found another dentist who put him on antibiotics and recommended a root canal. Even that dentist thought it was a joke. Never going near Bayview Dental again for emergency services or anything else.

I never post but felt my service deserved a comment. I’m afraid of the dentist and have not done a good job of keeping up with my appts. I needed work and sought consultation. I not only received options that work for me finances but for my nerves. I received my annual cleaning and scaling and am feeling confident to get addl work done. Yes, I recommend BDC.

I like the dr herself. She’s great but i don’t like the staff. They all seem soo laid back like they care about nothing and are shady. I don’t like the fact that the parking lot is the size of a closet. And what kills me the most is their time management!! They suck at maintaining the appointed time and that’s what kills me. I have to wait 45mins to an hour just to be seen for 20mins! It’s so unprofessional and I’ve walked outta there so upset 1 too many times. I’m always rescheduling because nothing is ever done on time here. This is pretty much my last visit here.
called for an appointment for cleaning, x rays and filling for a cavity and was told next available was 3months out. how can you tell someone in pain they need to wait 3 months for a dental apt! just tell me we are not taking new patients because we don't have the man power to cover the apt!

Last time I was here this so called dentist hacked into my molar despite me telling her I was feeling everything and screaming . I nearly crawled up the chair trying to avoid it. Unfortunately it took a while for her to finally stop. I cried and cried and cried and all she said was "stop being a baby"
I said she would never touch my teeth again. The sad part is that I loved coming to Dr Green. But something happened, she changed. She wasn't as kind and caring like before. It just wasn't fair that she didnt respect

I was recommended by my mother to this dentist Dr Greene, She is horrible and very unprofessional and not knowledgeable on what the needs of the patient are. She has no “bed side manor” at all when talking to the patients I didn’t understand what a compost filling is I’m not suppose to I’m the patient I didn’t go to dental school, She kept sighing when I asked questions and kept looking at her watch like she was in a rush and I was asking to many questions... The office is dirty and has a mildew moldy smell which was the same the last time I was here I didn’t expect it to still be the same, That back rooms where the patients go was dirty (the room I was in) the dental assistant was cleaning the room while I stood there and watched. I do not recommend this dentist to anyone and there in a nice neighborhood right by the hospital you’d think they would have a clean establishment I wish I could give no stars but that wasn’t an option that’s why I only put one star
Had 930 appt that I confirmed day before due to them send me a conformation phone call. I checked In at 930. Was told there were 4 ppl head of me. There was no social distancing notices around no one was sitting six feet apart. So I waited in my car , rep called me in that my child was next. It now two he later n sat another 20 min from the call. For her to take in three other patients that just walk in door before me. I explained to her that was unfair I’ve been waiting since 930 n it’s now 1145. Dr Green came out very argumentative telling me I should reschedule. Say her power was out all night . One had nothing to do with my appt and two she lied . I live in the neighborhood there was power. Therefore my kids will be removed from her service. Poor poor poor service.
I was so excited to go to this dentist once I found out about her. Upon arriving the office for my 9am appointment, it smelled like stale air, the paint on walls and doors were stained everywhere. The receptionists laughed and talked to each other and at 9:15 finally asked me to complete new patient forms...okay why was this not giving upon arrival...I guess noone wanted to stop their conversation long enough to give me the paperwork. The office staff also asked me questions by loudly asking from the window area. Ummm can you call my name and ask me to come up rather than sharing my information with the other patients...I guess hippa ain't alive and well there as I didn't sign any Hippa docs. The Dentist and hygenist were fine, but it was clear they deal more with gum disease, because my gums received a through cleaning, but my tooth cleaning was horrible. The hygienist only did one pass with the cleaning solition, and that part of the cleaning took seconds. The results of my cleaning = MY TEETH LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME!!! I have never been to a dentist and walked out with my teeth the same color as when I walked in. There was no concern for my stains. Disappointed!
The hygenist does a thorough cleaning and the dentist follows up. The staff is nice and moved their car so I could park. I had two different xrays. The office is immaculate and I got a toothbrush with toothpaste and a follow up appointment. It was easy to get an appointment.
