Absolutely phenomenal! Our son is easily overwhelmed by new situations, and Dr. Hernandez made him feel so safe. The office is calming and inviting—dim lighting, soothing music, and beautiful fish! The staff is warm and caring. I felt so relieved when Dr. Hernandez got my son comfortable with a dental exam. He used his spin brush for the first time ever tonight after months of being afraid! We have been using Bergen Pediatric Dentistry for all 3 of my kids for last 13+ years! The whole office from doctors, hygienists to the front office are all kind, welcoming and comforting! I really appreciate that they follow up with me to ensure that cleanings are kept on track and the ease of scheduling. My son is three years old and is on the spectrum. He has been to several dentists whom have been unable to clean his teeth. I was referred to Dr Hernandez by my son’s ABA therapist. I was extremely happy throughout the consultation. From the moment Dr Hernandez came into the office, I was at ease. My son was afraid, and at first, was yelling and not allowing Dr Hernandez to touch him. Her calm nature and ability allowed him to feel at ease and slowly he let her touch him and she was able to clean his teeth. He even let her touch his special toy. Dr Hernandez is not only a great dentist, but very easy to talk to. I highly recommend Dr Hernandez especially if your child has special needs.

Dr. Hernandez and her staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. My son had anxiety about seeing the dentist and getting some small cavities filled. Thanks to Dr. Hernandez he was able to treat some of his cavities with SDF, fill 2 cavities, and get sealants. By the time he had her last appointment with her he was calmer at the dentist and didn't have any fear leading up to his appointment. We are so happy we found Dr. Hernandez and her team!
