I’ve been going to this office for 3-4 years now and hope to remain a long time patient. I can’t say a single negative thing about this practice. The receptionists are always so friendly and know you by name, my dental hygienist is incredibly thorough and always gives me great advice, and Deb and Dr. Eric never fail to do a fantastic job whenever I need work done. Thank you!! I highly recommend Berger Dentistry!

I started going to Dr Berger because my close friend told me about her experience. My experience with Dr Berger was opposite. He did not communicate with me in several visit I asked for options for my situation I got not solutions When I called and told them I was leaving there service they did ask why.
My family has been going to this malicious dentist for years, no idea why. Prolly due to the fact that it’s right crossed the street. Convenience only. He has given me yellow fillings, he has sent me home with a mouth full of cavities when I specifically made an appointment at his dentist office for tooth decay, sent me home in the same condition. Let his nurse assistant stab me repeatedly I have wound in the bottom of my mouth right under the middle of my tongue shedded raw and internally bleeding, seeping currently. Thank you Eric Burger. I highly suggest looking for another dentist he will mess up your mood and you teeth. Forget her your whole smile with him. Facts.

Had a cleaning done and the nurse was very rough, tore up my gums and left me sore. The Dr came in and literally spend about 30 to 45 seconds just poking at my teeth real quick and said "looks good!"
Went to a new dentist who just told me that i have 5 cavities on one side and 2 on the other. My New dentist asked when the last time was that I had a cleaning and asked if I was informed about my cavities and decay. I said nope, and he basically said he was able to see the decay from across the room and that I should be giving Berger an ear full for not doing their job

I do NOT recommend this place. I had the worst job done when I got a same day crown. I recently went to my dentist for a cleaning, he saw it and said his office could redo it without me mentioning it. It looks and feels unnatural.
Also, they are dishonest about billing. They had me pay upfront, it was over $1,000. A few weeks later, I received an explanation of benefits from my dental insurance showing me I should get a refund of a couple hundred back from the office. I called them and they stated they kept the difference for the office visit and claimed there will not be a refund.
Very displeased with this place in every way.

I woke up this morning with a swollen jaw caused by a gum abscess. I called this place around 8am. They had me in the chair by 10am same morning. Staff was so friendly and awesome. Small intimate setting, very clean and comfortable. I found a new place. Thanks staff!! See you soon under better circumstances 😉

I have nothing but excellent things to say about this office. The receptionist is professional and very friendly. My dental hygienist Diana is the best. I've had bad experiences in other offices in my past. Diana was thorough, friendly and I had no discomfort at all! I also cannot express how happy I am with my dentist. This office is a father/son business. My dentist is Eric Berger, the son. I had a lot of work done. Eric and his assistant Deb are meticulous! I have had issues becoming numb for dental work in the past, and Eric made sure that I was sufficienly numb before beginning procedures and during long procedures he asked periodically to make sure I did not become uncomfortable. I could not ask for a better team to bring back my smile! If you are looking for a new dentist because you are new to the area or just unhappy with your current dentist, I suggest you try this office!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this office!! Today I called around 2pm and told them that I was in excruciating pain. They were able to get me in right away for a tooth extraction(even with me being a new patient). Despite how busy they were the wait was not long at all. Everyone was also EXTREMELY friendly in the office. The dentist was very informative, made me comfortable, and kept me calm during the process. I was nervous because he looked super young....but let me tell you he is the BEST dentist in many aspects that I've been to so far in my life! Moving forward this will be the ONLY dentist office that I return to. I just want to thank the staff for being AMAZING and accomadating me with super short notice!!!!!! I also don't usually write reviews but this folks definitely deserved one!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!

The nitrous was ineffective, and I was highly aware for the procedure. Everybody was polite, and tried to accommodate me, but I don’t know if I can trust them to ever work on my mouth again.
Update; I was refunded 40% of the cost of the nitrous, (or 10% of the bill).
Nitrous or Laughing gas affects different people in different ways. It is possible that other medications or tolerance lowered your sensitivity to the nitrous but the nitrous was tested and is functioning normally. Deeper sedation is available for those with higher levels of anxiety.
They aren’t evil, but neither are they warm or communicative. My 6 year old has had several dental procedures and is vacation of the dentist. They strongly resisted my presence in the exam room.
They have signs up for masks, a good idea, but don’t enforce them with patients. My girls can’t get vaccinated nor can they wear a mask while getting their teeth cleaned. The front office staff does t follow their mask rules.
They will make you completely fill out your paperwork occasionally, instead of simply handing you a printout and asking about changes.
In a world dependent on customer service, they could do a lot better.
New customer. Have been coming here for two years. Everyone I have encountered here is professional and caring. Dr Berger found a way for me to avoid dentures and created a full upper bridge. I am beyond happy with the results! I have never experienced pain with the shots or with any dental work after the fact.
I trust him and his staff fully. Would highly recommend!

I wanted to love this office but I just can’t. As a person who lives in the neighborhood we try to support local businesses. We won’t be returning here.
Their COVID-19 policies are inconsistent. Reception staff: one person was not wearing a mask properly (below nose) and the other wasn’t masked at all. There was a sign to wear a mask but not all patients who were waiting in the waiting room had on masks. Did not screen patients when entering (no temp check, questionnaire or hand washing upon entry). There was no communication prior to the visit that parents would not be allowed into the exam room. For our visit today they would not allow my husband to accompany our 6 year old during her cleaning. I had been there the day before for my own cleaning and another parent was allowed to be with their child. When we complained about wanting to be with our (scared) minor child the Owner/dentist told us that it was “best practices” to not have parents with children- they weren’t following other COVID-19 guidelines yet this one (that made us uncomfortable for many reasons) needed to be strictly adhered to according to the owner/dentist. (My husband is vaccinated and was properly wearing a mask). I have scoured the CDC and American Dental Association websites and haven’t found any guidance that parents shouldn’t accompany children. Actually the American academy of pediatric dentistry recommended having children sit on a parents lap and to provide the parent with a mask and face shield if the parent had negative screening criteria.
For some reason this office just wanted to make up their own inconsistent “rules”. If I don’t feel comfortable with the care of my children I just can’t continue to support this practice.
I’m sorry you were so unhappy even for your children’s routine cleanings.
We do of course allow parents in the
Rooms while the work is being done and work with parents and children to develop trust.
I cannot say enough praise for this dental office. I have extreme dental anxiety and they've all been so patient and kind the entire time I've been a patient. They take the time to explain everything to me, make sure I'm comfortable, and have even checked on me after work to make sure I'm doing OK. We've switched my whole family to this office and I refer everyone I know here. Best office in town!

I have been to a few dentist offices but none compare to the warmth and compassion I have received from every staff member! They always make sure to put their customers first, and fit me in when I had a dental emergency. They truly treat you like family. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this place is!
This place just turned me away with my 7 year old daughter. Stating that she was not allowed to come inside with me. They never told me over the phone that my own child would not be allowed to enter their building with me. I understand the risks we all take everyday with covid but this is my child. I was completely appalled and will never be going here again and will make sure none of my friends nor family do either.

We care for many elderly patients that have trusted us with their dental care for decades. We also see immune-compromised cancer patients and other patients with lower resistance. As a complete Dental care health facility, we have to take every precaution.
I love to help new patients with their dental care and am disappointed We couldn’t connect with you to work this out in a simple fashion.
Very professional, teeth cleaning was pain free and very thorough. Dental Hygienist, Roberta, addressed all my concerns as did the Dentist. Very affordable and compassionate care. Previously went to a corporate type of dentistry (Aspen Dental) so the difference was astonishing!
Dr. Berger and staff treat you like a human being, not a number. And they seem to really care about the longevity of your teeth!
I have been horrified of going to the dentist all of my life . One bad experience after another to the point that I had refused to go to the dentist for the last 12 years. I recently was in so much pain from a chipped wisdom tooth I had to go to the dentist to have it taken out. A co worker recommended this dentist. From the time I walked in the office everyone made me feel comfortable. They made sure that they explained everything gave me several options didn't try to push other services. And he pulled my wisdom tooth out and I honestly didn't feel a thing. I even scheduled a future appointment to have some long needed services. If you are in the Fort Wayne area and need a dentist I would definitely recommend going here.
