Had a really bad experience at this Philadelphia dental clinic. Went in for dental fillings and the doctor went too deep on one cavity and hit my nerve. Something felt off right away since I've had fillings before. Three weeks later, I could barely open my mouth. Called for emergency dentistry help before Thanksgiving and they said they were closed, promised to call back with options, but never did. Ended up having to go elsewhere.

Chose this Philadelphia clinic because of the high rating but had a disappointing experience. Got dental fillings done at the City Ave location on two visits. Afterward, I can see a visible hole in my tooth and worry decay wasn't fully removed. Told the dentist about bleeding gums and strong sensitivity, was told it's "normal for two weeks" without further evaluation. Felt rushed and dismissed, now worried about the work quality.

Frustrating experience with this Philadelphia dental clinic. Scheduled an appointment and got confirmation the day before, even a text reminder. Then suddenly got a call saying my insurance didn't cover procedures. My insurance company confirmed I DO have dental coverage, but when I called back, they refused to see me. That's not customer service - why make the appointment if you're going to cancel it last minute?

Always have quick availability for appointments at this Philadelphia dental clinic. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the dentist takes her time. The building looks kinda old and spooky with vacant spots, but inside Best Smile is warm and comforting. Parking's bad out front - usually full - but there's free parking in back. Good experience overall with their general dentistry services.

Extremely dissatisfied with the care at this Philadelphia practice. Was misinformed and didn't get a thorough exam or sufficient imaging. Told I needed multiple root canals they couldn't do there, plus fillings that kept getting delayed for no reason. Was making appointments to make appointments, never actually having work done. Got a second opinion elsewhere and saved thousands. If you need more than routine care in Philadelphia, look elsewhere.

I service was quick and speedy! Update 12/12/25: I went in to get my cavities filled and unfortunately I was burned by one of their tools that goes into your mouth. I’ve never had this happened before and did not go there with any injuries or ate anything to have an allergic reaction. I was given direction on how to take care of it, unfortunately I am now having to deal with this and put ointment on the area that is scabbing on my face.
