Honestly, my experience here was really bad. I had an appointment for a dental cleaning that my insurance covers, but they kept pushing other services and wanted me to sign a pre-treatment estimate for a copay. I said no, just here for cleaning. Then they said the hygienist wasn't there. After I told the doctor this happened before, he said he'd fit me in after 60 minutes. He came in less than 10 minutes, cleaned for maybe 3 minutes, then handed me off to his assistant who just polished my front teeth and then said I was done. Not happy with how they handled my cleaning.

So glad I walked into Bright Now! Dental in Oakland. I had a crown pop off the night before and couldn't get to my regular dentist in Fremont. Since my office is in the same building, I just walked in. The front desk lady was super sweet and got me a same-day appointment. Came back on my lunch break and was in and out in 20 minutes. The doctor was really nice and took great care of me, handling my emergency dental care like a pro. Definitely recommend this place for anyone needing quick help with crowns or dental emergencies.

As a new patient, I had a really positive experience with Dr. Patel at Bright Now! Dental in Oakland. She was super compassionate and made sure I felt comfortable. Kenya and Janet in the back office were kind and professional. Also gotta shout out the front office staff—they were efficient and friendly from my first call to my visit. They were patient when I had to reschedule my appointment twice. Overall, a great spot for general dentistry and dental cleanings.

Some staff are friendly and the hygienist is great, but the admin team lacks attention to detail. I lost wages because of this office. A lady named Evelyn almost made me pay twice for my deep cleaning—she didn't check my payment history. Then I had oral surgery scheduled for late November, took time off work, came in early, waited for hours, and they cancelled the procedure. The receptionist said they'd call to reschedule but never did. Really frustrating for getting oral surgery here.

The staff are friendly, but they messed up with my insurance. My plan covers x-rays every 12 months, but they took them after only 6 months and I had to pay out of pocket. Also felt they were aggressive with treatment plans. I've only ever had one cavity in my life, but they said I had 13. Went to another dentist and they said zero cavities. Wish I hadn't gone here for my dental cleaning or x-rays.

Worst experience I’ve had with a dentist. In the span of 9 months, I had 3 appointments canceled on the day of, and 2 of them were canceled once I arrived to the office for my appointment. Very disappointing, I will not be coming back.

Check in was a little complicated but that was due to done missing info on my part. The front desk staff worked with me patiently to get it all done. I was there for an oral surgery consult and the doc was young, pleasant and knowledgeable. I left with a great estimate and information about options. Highly recommend.

Got a tooth implant here and they were great. The specialist was gentle and made sure I was comfortable. Liz explained my coverage really well. My daughter also got braces and had four wisdom teeth pulled here—they did an awesome job with her orthodontics and oral surgery. The building's old but I see they're remodeling. Staff are nice and welcoming. Highly recommend for implants and braces in Oakland.

The staff was nice but unsanitary. The assistant took me back with gloves already in her hands, put her gloves on the reached in her pocket to put glasses on while touching her hair then wanted to put her fingers in my mouth. No ma'am! 🤮 The supervisor and Doctor said this is the standard practice. I feel if you are going to be touching objects and putting your hands in someone's mouth you should at least change gloves or use some to help open the mouth to their liking to proper place the film for xrays. I have a full blown anxiety attack. Calling my insurance to report this incident so the I don't get a bill for nothing. The office chairs are filthy as well..

I came in three weeks ago for a broken filling and scheduled a follow-up for 10/28 with the practice manager, Liz, due to my orthodontic treatment requiring wires to be removed that day. Upon arrival, I was informed that my appointment with the general dentist was never saved or scheduled. Instead, I was marked as an emergency evaluation, and my filling appointment was pushed to a later date. This is not the first time Liz has provided incorrect information regarding my treatment. Each time, I’ve had to escalate to a doctor or another staff member to get accurate details. While I have no issues with the actual care, Liz’s repeated mistakes and lack of reliability are beyond frustrating, and I no longer trust anything she says. Her errors could seriously mislead a patient who doesn’t question her information.

It feels like home coming in there. All the staff are nice and friendly. My husband and I have being going a little over a year now, and we receive top of the line service everytime we come. I believe if you are doing a good job at home keeping up with your brushing & flossing; then your experience will be evidentially pleasant. Always leave with complimentary goodies & a big clean and healthy smile

Awful experience. The office is disgustingly filthy—I took a pic of one room and there was thick dust on everything, you could write your name in it. Holes in the cabinets. Felt like I could get sick just from x-rays. Pricing seemed insane. We came for a teeth cleaning, had a 2pm appointment, they didn't see us until 3:30, then said they didn't have time for cleaning. Complete waste of time.

I scheduled an appointment specifically for a cleaning, and when I arrived, I was informed that the first visit is only for a check-up because I’m a new patient. This was never mentioned when I booked the appointment, despite clearly stating that I only needed a cleaning. It feels like a bait-and-switch tactic to charge for unnecessary services. Poor communication and misleading practices—I wouldn’t recommend them.

I must say. I loved my teeth cleaning experience. Diego is great, and cares about the entire person. My main dentist is also great. Honest! He cares about your smile, and giving you a pain free experience. The staff are friendly, and informative. I really appreciate Kelly tor explaining all financial information provided, so I can make the best financial decisions for my care. She puts up with my need for total explanations when needed.
