Here is what happened: they installed two crowns for me. One crown felt fine right away, but the second one caused severe discomfort from the beginning and I mentioned it immediately. The doctor told me it was “normal” and that the feeling would go away. Six months later, not only did the discomfort remain, but the gum around that tooth became inflamed for about a month, and I was also experiencing pain.
I called the office to explain the situation, and instead of treating it as an urgent issue related to their own work, they told me the next available appointment would be in 2–3 months. Only after I expressed frustration did they agree to see me within a week.
When I finally came in, they told me they “needed to check with the insurance company first.” I still don’t understand why. The crown was done by them, the insurance has nothing to do with whether they fix their own mistake. They should have taken responsibility and corrected the issue without involving insurance at all.
During the same visit, I asked about another tooth, where I only needed a simple repair, not a crown. The doctor again said they needed to check with insurance. A week later, the office called and told me that the insurance had approved three new crowns including one on the tooth that already had a crown and was causing the problem in the first place. I never requested three crowns not on the healed teeth, not on the painful one.
I told them clearly that I did not want more unnecessary crowns and reminded them the real issue was the defective work they already performed. The receptionist said she would “talk to the doctor and call me back.” Of course, nobody ever called back.
It’s clear they are interested only in billing insurance for more expensive procedures instead of fixing what they did wrong — and definitely not in offering fillings or more conservative treatment. Every time I asked if a filling was an option, they refused and pushed crowns instead.
That is why my rating is 1 star. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

I had my initial visit recently and was pleasantly surprise with the atmosphere of comfort and ease.
