Dr. Solooki is the best dentist I've ever had. I'm a senior and he approaches dentistry 'old school'—funny but a true professional. He's done nearly everything: cleanings, fillings, extractions, and an upper denture. Now he's making a partial denture for my lower. Everything has been painless, efficient, cost-effective, and long-lasting. He's conveniently in the Biltmore block DTLA with parking! Give him a try.

I've been to some pretty shitty dentists in LA, so I was skeptical trying a new one. But Dr. Solooki is the best! They do incredible work, always make me feel comfortable, and everyone is lovely. I love how transparent they are with pricing—never feel tricked. I started going because the office was close to my apartment, but even after moving to Sherman Oaks, I still make the drive to DTLA for them.

DR. Solooki and his team at Calm Dental always go above and beyond. I started coming here a couple years ago after not having insurance or a cleaning for several years. I went to a different dentist nearby who said I needed to have deep scaling (intensive cleaning/scraping of plaque) and tried to seriously overcharge me. I called around for comparisons but other offices I reached out to were very elusive about pricing with my insurance without me coming in for a consultation.
Calm Dental was the only dentist office I found that was willing to give me clear upfront, transparent pricing, and it was significantly more affordable. For someone who hadn’t seen a dentist in a while, I was definitely afraid of pain and possible judgement, but I’ve never felt anything but comfortable and cared for at Calm Dental. Dr. Solooki is gentle and patient, regularly checking in during a procedure to make sure you’re still doing okay. His professional and courteous team likewise follow his model.

This is hands down the best dentist office in LA. The whole staff is extremely professional, kind, and the best at their jobs. Whether you’re looking to do a cosmetic procedure or just a primary doctor to do your routine cleanings, this is the place to go. Dr Solooki did my porcelain crowns for me and after almost ten years they’re still in perfect shape and they look completely natural. I can’t recommend this place enough!

From the second I walked in, the staff was super friendly, and the vibe was great. Their playlist? On point. Dr. Solooki was amazing. I hadn't been to the dentist in years and needed a bunch of work, but they were flexible with my schedule and got everything done in a couple of days. He checked in on me throughout every procedure.

Not only is Dr. Solooki is the best dentist I've ever had -- he's the kindest medical professional across health disciplines I've ever worked with! I feel so taken care of at his office -- all of his staff are great, and the dental work I've had done is top-notch. When I didn't have insurance but needed several root canals, his team worked with me to figure out finances. He is so patient and compassionate and understanding -- great if you have any anxiety issues. Both my husband and I have been seeing Dr. Solooki for the past seven years and consider ourselves fortunate to have him as a dentist. :)
