I switched to Cambridge Dental in O'Fallon, IL for my regular check-up in August 2025 after my old dentist didn't take my new insurance. They wanted to take a lot more x-rays than usual as a new patient, and I told them I only wanted what my insurance covers. They said it was covered, but then started pushing a deep cleaning upsell. It felt really pressured and not what I expected for preventative care here.

My family had been patients at Cambridge Dental in O'Fallon, IL for over twenty years and were always happy. Unfortunately, we're moving on after a very disappointing experience. I got a call from a collection agency about a balance I didn't know existed—part mine, part my adult son's from our cracked teeth repair. I'd prepaid $1,800 and would've paid any remainder if I'd known. At 51, I've never had anything go to collections before.
