I get that emergencies happen—the second one was apparently for emergency dentistry—but if I canceled like that, would I get charged? Instead of apologizing, their response just seemed defensive. Campus Dentist at McMaster in Hamilton—their dentist, Dr. Harsh, is highly recommended. He's knowledgeable and explained the procedure when he did my root canal. Had a great experience overall. The front desk were very helpful too, giving me tips to overcome my anxiety about the noise. Will come back for more treatment, maybe for something like sedation dentistry next time.

Horrible experience Zero star, first time in my life the freezing injection was sooo painful. I had small break in my teeth that didn't even hurt , now after 9 hours after the operation my entire jaw and even the teeth itself is hurting she also injured my gummies on the side that was not even the broken side!!. in addition while working she almost hurt my lips. Then, she said I should have also made xyz but I don't know if your insurance would cover!! Could not she ask me before she took a decision for me. I hope I will NOT need to go there again HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. I wish I could give this dentist office 0 stars. I went in for what should have been a straightforward filling, but I left with nerve damage and now require a root canal. The procedure took over an hour, which is far longer than any other dentist I’ve been to, and it left me in pain.
When I called the office to address my concerns, the staff were incredibly rude, unprofessional, and continuously cut me off. Their behavior on the phone—and even in their replies to other reviews—shows a complete lack of accountability for their poor practices.
I regret not listening to the reviews before going here, and I strongly urge others to avoid this office. Save yourself the pain, frustration, and additional expense by choosing a more professional and compassionate dentist.

Don’t bother wasting your time.
The dentist and hygienists are great— the receptionists are unprofessional and ridiculous and make this office not worth visiting.
They’ll book you in on a day where the dentist isn’t even in office. They will give zero notice and only tell you that you’ll have to come back to finish the appointment when you’re already there. Apparently this is standard practice for them.
The receptionist also made rude assumptions about my family… She said “you don’t even know your dad’s birthday?” in a judgmental tone. You have no place to make assumptions on a patient’s family relations especially in a healthcare setting. Super weird and disrespectful.
When we book appointments, we schedule them only when the dentist is confirmed to be available. It is our standard practice to ensure providers are present during booked times. Vacation and days off are arranged weeks in advance to avoid conflicts. However, unforeseen circumstances such as illness, accidents, or family emergencies can occasionally arise, which are beyond our control.
Regarding insurance, when using a parent’s plan, certain personal information is required to process dental claims accurately.
To simplify the process, we are also happy to accept non-assignment of benefits. In this case, you would pay the full amount at the time of service and then submit the claim yourself for reimbursement from your insurance provider.

One of the receptionists is very rude, unprofessional, and does not make eye contact when speaking to you. The dentist who did my check-up and teeth cleaning was very nice, though. However, my experience with the receptionist makes me not want to book here again. If you can, give your business to another dental office.
