My Hygienist was amazing!!! I had a low blood sugar reaction and she and other staff came to my rescue!! No doubt embarrassing and emotional for me as I had no control of the shaking and sweating. However my Hygienist helped me through this vulnerability. Even checking I made it home safely 💕. Prior to my low blood sugar, she showed amazing grace and was so delicate but very thorough.
So thankful to have found wonderful people like Morgan and Dr. McCoy! I used to be scared to get dental work done—at one point I just wanted all my teeth pulled. This last visit I realized I'm now comfortable and no longer dread procedures. Thank you for everything!

I have been a patient of Capehart Dental for years and have been seen at both the Bellevue and the Papillion locations. I have never had any negative experiences with the staff or the facility but the behind the scenes insurance processing happening at these offices is not only illegal but very shady. I have spent hours on the phone with their offices and my insurance to uncover what has been happening for the past few years. While I love the staff, I can't support a business operating this way.
Capehart Dental is part of the Preferred Dentist Network for my insurance, which means they have negotiated rates for services. Not only have the failed to bill my insurance for multiple visits, despite me always confirming I have the same insurance, they have also billed me separately the difference from the submitted to insurance amount and the negotiated rate amount. This is actually illegal billing to try to gain the difference and I wonder how many patients have simply paid without looking into it. You also can not speak directly to their insurance/claims person, instead you can only speak to their front desk staff who act as a messenger to this person and also who told me multiple pieces of information that were incorrect based on my claims statements.
Find a practice who is 1) better at submitting timely claims to insurance, 2) transparent in how they bill 3) does not have illegal tactics to try to get higher fees paid or you will spend a lot of time on the phone trying to figure out what you actually owe, if anything!
Always a wonderful experience! The front staff, Julia, and Dr. Hofmaier are all so kind and helpful, and they always take the time to answer any questions. I also love the conversations we have, which make the visits feel relaxed and enjoyable.

We have been patients there since 2022, both my sons had actually been in for cleanings and a filling for my oldest the week prior. On October 17, 2025 My 4 year old child was injured at daycare less than a mile from the office. I called and asked if we could come in, he was bleeding from his gums and lip. It was 2pm on a Friday. The office said they were open until 5pm with two dentists present, yet they refused to see him, even briefly, or look at a photo because they had no openings. At first they said to call emergency dentistry and call back, but when I called back to tell them emergency dentistry said they don’t have pediatric tools I was repeatedly referred elsewhere by staff. They googled and told me to call other offices, where I am not a patient, that were closed.
When it was clear around 3pm no other dentist would help us, a staff member told me the dentist said it would be a “waste of time” to see my child for “a cracked tooth”. Those were the exact words used. How does he know it’s just a cracked tooth? His teeth were bent inward from running into another kid on the playground. No dentist ever spoke to me, asked a question, or offered reassurance…only reception. I hung up at a loss not knowing what to do. After my pediatrician called and gave them a word they then called me back and found a resident at Children’s who was happy to stay open to meet us. He said that the tooth was broken off at the root and needed pulled else infection would have gone straight in by Monday.
We are not leaving because they were busy; we are leaving because of the way an injured child and a loyal family who have been going there since 2022 were dismissed in a moment of need. Being told your child is a “waste of time” is unacceptable in any medical forum.
I wrote them an email explaining this…they have not replied. Nobody has called to check on my child. They have, however, called and emailed asking to schedule my next cleaning.
Dr. McCoy and her assistant are the best! I had a very pleasant and professional experience at my appointment for a cavity filling. They both are so nice and continously checked in with me to make sure that I wasn't feeling any discomfort. I highly recommend them!
I have severe dentist anxiety and hadn't been in years. Morgan made sure I was comfortable and let me take breaks when needed. The cute pictures of her fiancé and puppy showed she's a real person, not just there for the money. Dr. McCoy was professional and understood my situation. She assured me everything would be okay and set up a treatment plan I was comfortable with. Morgan made sure I had no questions at the end. Finally found a good dental office in Bellevue!
