Over 10 years now I've been coming to Dr. Lam and she's hands down the best dentist I've ever had. Trying to get my other family members to switch to her too—they live a bit further out but that's how much I trust this office. Like most people, I used to really dread going to the dentist, but Dr. Lam and Julianne have always made it a pleasant experience. Things have been better than ever under her care. Honestly, if you're in Los Angeles and need general dentistry or cosmetic work, you should check them out.

Dr. Lam is the best dentist I have ever known—she saved my teeth, turned around my gum disease, and has maintained my oral health ever since. My wife and I both highly recommend her. She's very gentle and caring. Her DTLA office is a great location for locals and easy to get to if you need cosmetic dentistry or dental implants in Los Angeles.

When Dr. Lam and Julianne decide to work with you, it means your teeth are worth the hard work and deserve the best care. Julianne gets my teeth super clean and sparkling in a manner that's quick, professional, and gentle—no splashes or discomfort. Dr. Lam tells me exactly what to do to have the healthiest teeth on the block, and every time I do what she says, my teeth get better and stronger. Over the last 20 years, she's had me switch to a better toothbrush, change my flossing practice, and start using both a nightguard and a regular periogel treatment between visits. Dr Lam has been our dentist for the past 20yrs and we could not find a dental provider who is more skilled or reassuring. She is gentle and makes sure you are comfortable and quietly hums while she’s working on you to put you at ease :). Dr Lam is also very detailed and does excellent work. When I first came to her, I needed a root canal on one of my molars but she saw how scared I was of dental procedures and tried her best to re-do the work of my previous dentist. She saved the tooth and that deep and wide crown has lasted 20yrs with zero issues. All of her equipment is state of the art—she’s got all the new high tech equipment to make sure your teeth and gums stay healthy, but she also knows how to do it the old school way too. She’s the best dentist in LA—Hands down. I wouldn’t go to anywhere else and that’s why I still drive up from Orange County to have her take care of my teeth. She also has excellent staff—Julianne is very efficient and super kind too. I have loved going to this office for excellent dental care, but I also love the small break it gives me from the OC. It’s in the heart of downtown so lots of yummy eateries and a quick stop at Uniqlo and 85degrees rounds out my dental outing. Pretty great every 6mo. Thank you Dr Lam and Julianne for taking good care of our teeth!

I can’t say enough great things about Dr Lam and her staff! Booking appointments is always a breeze and they’re so on top of follow ups that I don’t need to worry if my calendar is off. I’ve been a patient for a few years and have always felt at ease in the chair. Dr Lam makes thoughtful and specific recommendations each time without any pressure, so I always feel confident that the choice is mine about how to proceed with my teeth! She was able to help fit a night guard for me that completely improved my sleep and my TMJ. I can’t recommend this office enough!
Also, parking is easy in the garage below the building on Hope. What a relief when going downtown.
Always a great experience when visiting Dr Lam’s office. Usually leave there feeling (and looking) better than when I arrived. I usually get compliments on my smile and teeth once every week or two from strangers. Dr Lam and her staff (Julianne) are top tier! Dental cleanings are always done with care and thoughtfulness as well as my latest adventure with them, SureSmile to address some teeth that have shifted. Been going to Dr Lam for years and love it.
Stop putting off your dental appointment and see Dr. Lam! Her knowledge, professionalism and friendliness are bar none. If you're lucky enough to live or work downtown her office is so convenient, just around the block from Macy's (great validated parking). I'm about 10 miles away but it's worth the drive and I wouldn't want to see any other dentist. Julianne has been with her for years and the two of them are just the best!

I've been seeing Dr. Lam for over 20 years now and still as satisfied now as when I first began. She's friendly and warm and genuinely concerned about my oral hygiene health. She's meticulous, careful, and professional in her dental care. She's good about suggesting options, laying out the ones she believes are optimal, and doesn't try to take any shortcuts. The office is clean and tidy. Julianne is terrific as Dr. Lam's support both front office and back office. Been seeing Dr. Lam for 6 years and I've never been more confident in my smile. Not only is she super skilled, she's SO knowledgeable about dental issues. She's been able to point out issues that other dentists have glossed over that could really have been a danger to my health if they hadn't been addressed. And she has great bedside manner as well. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to my teeth because of past experiences, and she's so understanding and reassuring. She'll go out of her way to make me feel comfortable. Also, the dental implants she did on me are so natural that every time I smile I forget they're not my real teeth. If you need dental implants in Los Angeles, she's the one.

Dr. Lam and her longtime assistant Julianne take care of the gamut of dental needs, from routine check-ups and maintenance to additional more extensive procedures. They're super-friendly, caring, and deeply knowledgeable about oral care practices, and they spend a lot of time on patient education. They've offered me many helpful tips over the years to maintain and improve my oral health. Dr. Lam's practice is technologically progressive, but she's conservative and very pragmatic in approach. So when I met Dr. Lam and told her what was happening with my tooth, she right away made me feel like the most important person in the world. She changed my feeling about dentists and the importance of making me feel heard and in the know about what could be going on with my tooth. She made time for me right away! When I walked into her office in Los Angeles, I was greeted and treated with such care and attention and felt so comfortable and relaxed. She addresses any issues I have, keeps my teeth white and looking good, and spends enough time with me on each visit to make sure all is well.
