My husband has severe anxiety, so we were referred to Cave Spring Dental Arts in Roanoke for sedation dentistry to handle his cleaning and cavity check. The front desk and nurse were amazing and helpful at first. We got there early to fill out paperwork since it never came in the mail, and things started off okay when they took him back for digital x-rays. But then things went downhill with the dentist himself, which was really disappointing since we were reassured this wouldn't be an issue.

Been going to Dr. DeMichele at Cave Spring Dental Arts in Roanoke for quite some time now. Just had an extraction with bone grafting yesterday, and everyone in the office is absolutely amazing. Dr. DeMichele is so patient and kind - he explains everything thoroughly and really listens to questions and concerns. Morgan was fantastic too, taking time to explain pre and post-op care for my dental implant procedure. She's very gentle and really set me at ease when I was nervous. Stephanie, my hygienist, is an angel - always so gentle during cleanings.

They made everything go more smoothly than I could have imagined! Everything went perfectly and it legitimately changed my life for the better! I have been with CSDA for over 20 years and the staff is absolutely wonderful! Dr. DeMichele is great and very personable. The hygienists seem to really love their work and there is very little turnover, which speaks to happiness of the employees. They are on time and very efficient in a quiet and organized office. I’ve had good experiences at this dentist. I have dental fear and have a hard time going to the dentist, so I chose this one because of the sedation options. I would recommend if you’re like me and have dental anxiety (for any dentist) that you have an up front discussion on how much information you want about any procedures you need. I understand some (most?) people with dental anxiety don’t want to hear any of the details. I am a weirdo who both wants to hear the details but then just not be conscious for the actual process. Dr. DeMichele and his team were accommodating of this after we discussed my preference. I think he’s a great dentist to work with when you have dental anxiety. The whole team is very friendly and warm. I would recommend.

I moved to the Roanoke area in 2011, I moved here from Richmond where I grew up and used the same dentist my whole teenage and adult life. Moving to a new area you never know where to go to get good personalized heath care. I tried two different dentist offices before finding Cave Spring Dental Arts. I have been using them ever since. The staff is great, they always make sure to have a time that fits my busy schedule to get me in and out quickly without any long wait times. My whole family now uses this office for any dental needs, Josh does a great job making everyone comfortable no matter what procedures need to be done. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. DeMichele and his staff are great to work with. We had a couple of issues that they were able to resolve quickly by working us in the next day. They are always friendly and scheduling is so easy.
