Scheduling is a nightmare. You'll make an appointment wait 8+ months for an appointment then they cancel or change without notice. Dental hygienist are amazing they go above and beyond. It's sad that the wait and scheduling ruins the experience.

Love the crew at Chestnut Hills in Johnstown, especially Sierra the hygienist and Dr. Simanski—they really take good care of you. My only gripe is the scheduling: you gotta wait a while for appointments. I know that's not on the doc or the staff, it's more of a management thing. But honestly, the team here is awesome, and the dental cleanings are top quality. Just wish they could get the wait times sorted out so I don't have to wait months for a root canal or something.

Hygienist was amazing, I love the people there, but scheduling next appointment 11months out when they are supposed to be every 6 months is not. If your so over run with patients and out of space as the receptionist told us then move to a bigger facility or downsize your clientele.

But this time I was told I'd have to wait 10 months for my next cleaning—I'd rather stick to every six months. Hoping I can get in sooner for a checkup. Fingers crossed!

The office staff are nice and knowledgeable, and the dentist was caring—that's important to me. But scheduling wasn't great: they gave me the wrong date so I showed up a month early. When I came on the right day, they said they didn't take one of my insurance plans, which really annoyed me since I chose them for that reason. Hoping they can get it together.
