I was a new patient in September 2024 for an oral exam and cleaning. I've had the same insurance for 10 years, and previous claims were fine. But here, they said they'd file insurance, I gave them my card, and then for 3 months I got texts about a balance. Turns out the claim was filed incorrectly and denied. No one called to let me know. Pretty frustrating.

Honestly, I love this dentist. The whole staff is super kind and helpful. My hygienist actually saved a flavored tooth polish for me for 6 months just so I could try it at my next appointment—how thoughtful is that? Dr. Grill and everyone in the office are excellent. Super friendly and make you feel right at home. They kept everything smooth, and there was very little to no pain—even though I'm pretty sure I bit his finger a few times lol. Prices are fair in my opinion. Love this place, great people, great work. Can't wait to finish all my dental work—wish I'd found them sooner. Overall, great experience!

When my daughter had a tooth abscess, Dr. Grill and his staff got her in within hours and handled everything so well. They calmed all of our nerves and even stayed open later to be patient with my daughter as her tooth was being pulled. I cannot rave enough about this office! I will forever be grateful!

Then Dr. Grill introduced himself and explained I needed a tooth extraction, recommending an oral surgeon and arranging a same-day appointment. He even mentioned he used to live near me in downtown Savannah. Felt very well looked after—definitely will recommend!

I'm a total wimp about the dentist. My previous dentist retired over 5 years ago, and I kept putting it off. Dr. Grill and his team were fabulous! I was worried about needing a ton of work after so long, but they put me at ease. Tabitha and April were amazing—best and easiest dental cleaning I've ever had! Can't wait for my 6-month follow-up!

Nice front desk, but the hygienists seem more concerned about getting the job done quickly rather than the comfort of the patients. Dr. Grill is quick to refer you to a specialist. Maybe he gets a portion of the proceeds. He referred my wife to a periodontist who charged over 1000 dollars for a "deep" cleaning which seemed just like a regular one. My golfing buddy, a Dentist from NY City said this procedure should cost maybe 500 to 700 dollars (in NY not Savannah dollars). Now Dr. Grill wants me to go to a periodontist for the same thing.
He charged me 500 dollars for a night guard which originally cost me 250 dollars in DC where I bought it before I lost it. Happy you guys like him, but I am looking for another dentist.

I'm sorry your experience didn't meet expectations. Referrals to specialists are done for your benefit, not mine, and I can assure you there are no kickbacks from specialists. Our hygienists are thorough, diligent extremely competent. I checked your teeth after the cleaning and I can assure you that nothing was missed. Check around, our fees are right in line with the other offices in our area. Hope you have a great day.

Dr. Grill and his staff are attentive and thorough. From the friendly greeting and minimal waiting period through all my cleanings and treatment it has been a pleasure going to the dentist. I use a wheelchair for mobility and the office is laid out so that I can enter and exist freely and the staff removes and replaces my wheelchair before and after treatment at my convenience. As others have said, they make it almost fun to go to the dentist.
