Had to wait an hour at this Fall River dental clinic, and once we got in the chair, they didn't make my kids feel comfortable for their first visit. We're planning to go back to give them another chance, but it wasn't the best start for our children's dentistry experience.

Honestly, I've never written a review before, but I'm just furious about our experience at Cortland Dental & Braces in Fall River. They really don't seem to care about their patients' time. My kids have never been seen on schedule here. After waiting 35 minutes, they told me to put my 1-year-old and 3-year-old in separate seats across from each other instead of next to me where I could manage them. I explained I scheduled back-to-back pediatric dentist appointments and brought my double stroller for a reason. This was our last visit for sure.

The service at this Fall River office was terrible. They were short-staffed and had a really bad attitude. I've noticed a big drop in quality of care and customer service since we started going here back when it was Kool Smiles. Today's visit was the worst yet for me and my son—he left crying, and I left angry after our dental checkups.

My daughter went to Cortland Dental & Braces in Fall River, MA for a cleaning and braces consultation recently. She'd had a consultation there years ago and was told to wait until her baby teeth were gone before starting orthodontics. Well, she's lost them now, so we were ready to move forward. The cleaning happened first, but then the braces consultation didn't follow as planned. The dental assistant came out to talk to me, and it just felt disorganized.

Had a terrible time at my daughter's appointment at Cortland Dental & Braces in Fall River. We waited almost 2 hours for a teeth cleaning—scheduled for 10am but didn't get into the room until 11:45am. Their excuse was being short-staffed, which just feels unprofessional and unacceptable for any dental clinic.

Very good with my daughter and did everything same day. Even offered to add her in to the schedule for a filling even though she wasn't there for that.

No bedside manner from Dentist. Didn’t attempt to speak to me directly regarding my child instead spoke to the assistant. (even though i was sitting 3 feet away)

I left practice because i made a dental cleaning appt . When i went in back they informed me i wasnt going to get cleaning as they had do xrays and exam. then come back once insurance approves the cleaning. Everywhere else all that is included in cleaning appt. I was very upset

Sketchy billing practices at this Fall River dental clinic—patients should beware! I ended up pulling my kids out because of it. My husband paid a deductible that wasn't actually due since our plan covers 100% for children's services under 13. When I called for a refund, they said I had to wait for claims to process. A month later, I had to call my insurance myself and hand over the info. Just frustrating for emergency services or any care here.

Great friendly staff at Cortland Dental & Braces in Fall River. They have private rooms and a big room for multiple patients, which is nice. As of now, they take both Mass Health and Neighborhood Healthcare of RI, making general dentistry more accessible here.
