Came in for a cleaning and two fillings. When I went back for the second filling, the doctor couldn't remember which side she'd worked on before and insisted we already filled that tooth. Nope, not true. That was concerning, so I didn't go back. My new dentist in Costa Mesa found the filling was done wrong—the edges weren't smoothed, so it was hanging over. Not a good experience.

Dawn, her assistant, is always super friendly and makes me feel comfortable. Honestly, if you need any dental work in Costa Mesa, this is the place. Dr. Pannu and the hygienists/back office staff were nice but my experience with the front office wasn’t the best.
Trust me when I say I really do not like conflict or causing issues or anything but when I have needed to interact with the front office staff things have just felt a bit disorganized and handled in an unprofessional tone and didn’t feel like they were happy to help.
When I requested for my X-rays to be sent to myself when I was in the office in person for the purpose of going to another clinic I was also questioned a bit on why I was going to another clinic, which I personally was not comfortable saying right there and the situation just felt really awkward and unfriendly to me.
I was sent a single X-ray photo I had taken at a follow up visit the next day after I requested it but wasn’t sent my full set of X-rays I had during my initial exam so I asked if it was possible to get those as well and received a short email reply that what I received was the only X-ray they had on file with no other explanation. I was confused about that so I called the office and they initially just told me they already responded to my email and I ended up having to ask to speak with the dentist about it since I did have a full set of X-rays done there. The front office staff then went to ask the dentist and told me that there was the full set of X-rays but they were still working on sending them to me which was not what was conveyed to me in the email. Overall it just seems like there is a lot of miscommunication in the office. I ended up going to another office and I’ve had a great experience there.
For me, I can’t keep coming back when I don’t feel comfortable asking for help or calling the office. I really wish I had the great experience here that a lot of others say they did but it just wasn’t the case for me.
Affordable and really great staff. Brittany did my first teeth cleaning in 5 years and made me feel so relaxed. She is amazing! Very thankful and could not recommend this office more
This dentist office kills the stigma of going to the dentist being a bad thing. They are all so nice at this office. I just had to have a filling done and they were super understanding of my nervousness and they were so gentle, it did not hurt at all! I never dread my dentist appointment because of this place.
I cannot say enough great things about this office and everyone there, but I specifically want to shine a light on Dr. Manreet Pannu Grewal. I ended up finding this clinic when I had a sudden dental emergency. The office got me in quickly and the service was fantastic. I then came in for my 6mo cleaning and had another great experience with the whole staff. Today, Dr. Grewal fixed the bonding on my two front teeth and gave me the smile I always wanted. I literally got to my car and cried. I highly recommend this office. You won’t regret it!
Absolutely love this dental office! Everyone is so incredibly nice and the staff are super knowledgeable. They also do a really good job of talking patients through everything they're doing, which helps if you have anxiety about going to the dentist.

I have never had any issues regarding the work. They treat for what is needed and preventative and are practical about treatment options. I get great teeth cleanings. Consistently, the office staff, and technicians, and of course the dentist, are friendly. I feel confident that my dental care is in good hands.
Coming to this place for the first time in over years of not going to the dentist made me feel nervous at first. Then I entered and Susan at the front desk was so nice ! The whole staff are all around amazing, kind, and knowledgeable. I am so happy I have found a new dentist and hygienist to go to now. Every single person in that office helped me feel so welcomed. The staff at Costa Mesa Smiles is fantastic. Dr. Pannu is very detailed and will explain any questions you may have. Her assistant Sylvia will make sure you are comfortable and at ease at all times. Armi at the front desk is very up to date with all insurance policies and will tell you what the procedures will cost.I have never had to wait more than five minutes before being lead back to dental chair. I highly recommend Costa Mesa Smiles for anyone looking for a qualified dentist.
Best overall dental office i have ever been to. Dr. Pannu is very kind, friendly, and caring. She is very well experience dentist and i am always satisfied with her work. Silvia is one of her assistants and she is a very sweet, caring, and pleasant person. Army is the front office manager and she is always smiling, friendly, talkative and caring. Everytime i come in i am treated with great dental care and feel very welcomed.
I am a new patient to Dr. Huang. I feel that she is very professional, knowledgeable, caring and gentle. She explains things very thoroughly and takes her time listening to questions that you might have. She has some top of the line equipment and uses a lot of methods to examine and gather dental data. Her office is run very professionally and efficiently and the staff are friendly, courteous and do not rush you in and out. They have nice soothing classical music playing and take the time to make your feel comfortable and as stress free as one can be in this type of an environment. I had the same dentist for 30 years but I am now glad that I switched to Dr. Huang.
