I met Dr. Zaccariello today for the first time and I must say that I am so pleased with his work. He was very attentive and gentle with me, constantly making sure I was okay, and without pain. Throughout the extraction of my wisdom tooth, he and his assistant Sabrina made sure I was comfortable. I will definitely be bringing the rest of the family here for their dental needs! I have always been fearful of going to the dentist bc of a bad experience i had a long time ago, but I feel that I have found a great one! I cannot forget Judy at the front desk she is very friendly, kind and easy to talk to!! Overall, my experience was a 10 out of 10! I would refer everyone to go here!
Dr. Zaccariello is absolutely amazing. My finance needed an emergency appointment and when i called the office Judy was able to get us in right away. The doctor is so funny and personable , he’s an absolutely great and down to earth person. Really appreciate that he was able to help us out last minute.
Yesterday was my first appointment with Dr. Zaccariello. I am writing this review because of how in awe I am with the care I received. Because of past traumatic dental experiences with other doctors, I had been extremely anxious for this check up. The care I received from Dr. Zaccariello was unlike any care I’ve ever received from a dentist, and above most medical practitioners. The patience, continually asking me if I was okay, and thorough treatment was outstanding. Within the first moments with Dr. Zaccariello, I felt my nerves at ease. His beautiful office, dental assistant, and phenomenal professionalism stands above any treatment I could have dreamed for. Staten Island is truly lucky to have Dr. Zaccariello practicing dental medicine and I am beyond grateful to have found him for my best health.
I can’t thank Dr. Zaccariello enough for coming in after hours to help me when I was in severe pain and a first time patient. He was incredibly gentle, compassionate, and took the time to clearly explain everything, which immediately put me at ease. I felt a million times better within minutes of him working on my teeth and back to normal after leaving his office.

This office is the best. I called up today at 6:30pm due to having some issues with my wisdom teeth. Judy at the front desk & Dr. Zaccariello stayed open for me to come in last minute and also as a new patient! Dr. Z and staff made me feel very comfortable. I ended up getting my wisdom teeth removed right then and there. At 9:30pm, while I was home, I called because I was having some questions about the bleeding, in which Dr. Z answered me right away and he opened up the office to meet me there at 10:00pm. Dr. Z went out of his way to open up the office and see me; while providing me with the best care possible. I highly recommend this office!! 10/10!
Dr. Goodman did amazing work. The photos speak for themselves. He pays attention to even the smallest details. I wanted teeth that looked natural, not the "way too bright and white" kind that celebrities seem to favor.
People who have not seen me for a while will ask me if I have lost weight, started exercising, etc. They detect "something" different about me, but they just can't put their finger on it. That tells me that Dr. Goodman achieved the "look" I wanted.
Obviously, I spent quite a bit of time in his dentist chair. Never once did I feel meaningful pain. Dr. Goodman insisted that I feel no pain before he began working.
Although I live on the Upper East Side, it was worth the trip to Staten Island. Highly recommended!
When my Manhattan dentist of nearly 25 years suddenly retired while I was in the midst of getting five implants I decided to stay with the practice. It was the most practical choice and my trusted dentist ensured me the new dentist, who bought the practice, was very well versed in basic dentistry as well as cosmetics and implants. I trusted that. I stuck it out and finished the implants against my better judgment. It did not go well. Fast forward when things began to go wrong...
Dr. Richard Goodman came highly recommended years ago but he was in Staten Island of all places. I could not imagine going to another borough for dental work. I finally did when I wanted a new dentist I could trust and potentially stay with for the rest of my life.
Dr. Goodman was warm, upbeat and made me feel extremely comfortable. On my first visit, which should have just been an initial exam/consultation, I asked him to replace one of my crowns which was causing me issues. He had a cancellation after my appointment so he was able to continue working on me. He explained everything he was going to do to put me at ease and was both gentle and smooth. I hardly knew he was in my mouth - he's like a DENTAL NINJA. After Dr. Goodman removed the old crown and cleaned the area he made a temporary crown that fit in like a Lego piece. He carved it right in front of me and It just snapped into place. I was shocked. It fit perfectly! I went back two weeks later for the permanent crown and the process was just as easy - no need for novocaine.
I have since had a cleaning and am going later this week to be fitted for Invisalign to straighten some shifting teeth.
Lastly, Dr. Goodman's prices are extremely affordable. The cost of my crown was 50% less than my former Manhattan dentist. I would have saved a bundle had I been going to Dr. Goodman over the years.
Note: I took the express bus one stop from downtown Manhattan to Dr. Goodman's practice on Lambert's Lane in Staten Island. It was super easy to get to, the office is newly renovated, the walls are covered with beautiful, colorful photos taken by Dr. Goodman. He is a passionate and talented photographer. Judy, the front desk manager, is very welcoming. The office is conveniently opened on Saturdays as well. This is the guy to see.
