Doctors here are consistently rude and condescending. They talk down to you like you're nothing. Not my first bad experience either. Go somewhere else if you can. This is in Palm Springs—plenty of other options for primary care.

Ran into Chanel Holguin at the Palm Springs library a while back when she was tabling for DAP Health. Honestly, she was the kindest and most helpful person—explained all their services like primary care and HIV testing so clearly, and went way out of her way to support my family. I see her now at St. John's, but back then she was a huge asset to DAP. If she'd stayed, she totally deserved a management role. Also, another staff member there consistently made a positive difference. Great experiences overall.

DAP Health literally abandoned me when I needed them most. They disenrolled me with no warning—I only found out when I tried to schedule my next appointment. Their legal team argued about facts that are easily verifiable, and they lied about policy violations I never committed. The new compliance officer seemed nice, but that doesn't undo the harm. If you rely on them for HIV testing or primary care in Palm Springs, be careful.

Can you just spell it out on the sign? It's Desert AIDS Project—say it loud and proud, not 'DAP.' My doctor at Desert Care Network scared me by testing for HIV even though I'm not sexually active, saying I'm at risk just for living in Palm Springs. People need to know what DAP stands for. Stop trying to be cool with slang and be blunt about the dangers in this city.

Felipe Cendejas left me on read multiple times. Patient services couldn't get a reason or even reach him. I've been trying to get an MRI for over a month to start treatment, but they've let insurance requests sit. When I followed up, they sent me on a wild goose chase. I'm in pain every day and they just don't care. Don't rely on their PCPs in Palm Springs—they're overwhelmed and unresponsive.

I used to recommend DAP Health, but not anymore. They switched my prescription to their Cathedral City pharmacy without asking—I always used Walgreens on their Palm Springs campus. When I called, they insisted I made the change. After a frustrating runaround with the pharmacy, I spoke to office manager Jessica, who... well, it's been a mess. Horrible communication.

Got new insurance and picked DAP for primary care in Palm Springs. It took 6 phone calls, 3 visits, and 22 days to see a doctor. Staff actively withheld info—I had to keep calling to get simple answers. After realizing they go out of their way to not communicate, I lost confidence. Not a good start.
