Dr. Williams saw me today on short notice in Roanoke, VA—I moved last year and hadn't found a new dentist, so I drove 2.5 hours for my appointment. Had the easiest root canal I've ever had. Great dentist! All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable too. Can't say enough good things about this practice in Virginia. Highly recommend for root canals.

Where do I begin? My husband and I recently moved from central Florida to Roanoke. Our priority was to quickly establish a relationship with a local PCP and a local Dentist. Covid reared it’s ugly head within a month after relocating and I was forced to put my Dental needs on hold for several months. I had a crown to come off 2 days ago and I was concerned that I would not find a Dentist who could see me quickly!!! I found Dr. Irby on the internet. After reading his reviews, I knew I wanted to contact this practice. I called Dr. Irby’s office on Tuesday, told them my story, and they worked me into the schedule in less than 48 hours. Today, Dr. Irby advised that I save my tooth instead of trying to up sale an implant. This was huge for me. He was kind, gentle and completely thorough through my 2-1/2 hour visit. They explained what they were doing every step of the way. He made sure I had zero pain. Dr. Irby’s chair side assistant, Nicole, was wonderful, and the office staff made me feel like I was part of the Irby family. Dr. David Irby will be my Dentist.

I recently had to seek an emergency appointment for severe tooth pain and was quite apprehensive after having a very bad experience with my prior dentist from a different practice.
I called the office expecting it would be several days before I could be seen, however they worked me in less 24 hours later!
When Dr. Irby said I would need a root canal I immediately started thinking of the horror stories I had heard about this procedure and became a bit anxious.
My fears were quickly put aside when a short time later the procedure was over with ZERO pain or discomfort.
You WILL NOT find a better dental experience than Dr. Irby and his assistant.
Both of them were kind, patient, and genuinely interested in making me as comfortable as possible throughout my entire experience.
Everyone from the receptionist, all the way through to the Dr. were amazing and have definitely earned a new patient.

I called for a Emergency Appointment and they got me in Immediately with Dr Irby. My other Dentist couldn’t get me in for a Abscess. You honestly can not ask for nicer Office Staff, as well as the two Dentist. Dr. Ramsey came to the room to even say hello too! Everyone there makes you feel so welcomed. The Nurses are amazing. Thank you all so much. Definitely will be switching!

I had a wisdom tooth and the one in front of it removed and felt ZERO PAIN. First time ever going to a dentist and not having any pain or discomfort. Dr. Irby in Roanoke, VA is really calm, which makes it easier for patients to relax. My dad had a lot of dental complications and pain before, and was skeptical after bad experiences. After choosing Dr. Irby as his new dentist in Virginia, talking about his issues and hearing Dr. Irby's approach made him feel comfortable and less scared. He's had root canal treatment and deep scale cleaning done and feels much better now.

Dr. Irby is efficient but thorough. I required multiple fillings, and normally I dread getting them done. He finished my dental work quickly but made sure I was comfortable throughout. I will definitely be going back to him for my routine checkups, and any other dental work I may need.

I saw Dr Irby to have my wisdom tooth taken out, he was very gentle, I didn’t feel the shots at all! I had never had dental work done before so I had major anxiety, but Dr Irby and the staff made it a great first experience!
Dr. Irby is awesome. Every visit with him is pleasant. His calm and caring demeanor takes the anxiety and fear out of dental visits. He is always patient and willing to answer my questions (and I'm always asking questions). Definitely recommend!
