Dr. Callilung is great! Super gentle and considerate. I'm not a fan of the dentist, but he makes it go smoothly with as little pain as possible. He's getting me caught up on a bunch of dental fixes, and I actually don't dread going to his office in Irvine. The receptionists are friendly and help explain the charges clearly. If you need any dental care, especially cosmetic dentistry or preventive care, check them out!

This review is well overdue. Weβve been coming here for over 20 years. In all the years, we had to beg for X-rays to be done. Catching up now to fix all the issues. Staff and Dr. Calilung Denying liability when confronted. Front office staff throwing blame on us, which makes no sense. Had to beg for X-rays for our son. Over 6 years never had an X-ray done, when finally did - it showed one of our son's wisdom teeth growing sideways into the next tooth. It started a chain reaction of one issue after another. Poor kid had to have multiple cavities and potentially a root canal done. This review is well overdue, and very unfortunate since we've been with Dr. Calilung for over 20 years. Instead of an apology for lack of care and lack of services - we got a sarcastic and incredibly hurtful email from his office staff. Accusing us of not knowing dental procedures and trying to justify why no X-rays were done for over 6 years on a minor! We are filing a complaint with the Dental Board and going to court next. It's truly concerning and unfortunate that patients (especially young people) have to suffer like this because of negligence.

I had to get a chipped tooth filled, and it was perfect! I was nervous it would be painful and take a while, but everything was pain-free and done in less than 45 minutes. They even did a regular cleaning because I was due. So quick and pain-free! My tooth looks great.

Xerxes is the best, he's been our family dentist for 30 years. Highly recommend, he's always honest, won't have you do anything or pay anything that is not necessary or needed. He is kind and has a gentle touch, perfect for our kids and us.

I originally made an appointment for teeth cleaning on Thursday, 2/6 at 4pm. It was moved to next Thursday without any notice from the front desk. I came here as scheduled without any notice. I put aside my work and wasted my time here. However, the front desk kept saying that the dentist moved me to next week. As a new guest, I can only say that I am very disappointed.
UpdateοΌ What makes me happy is that I made a new appointment according to my schedule and went for the teeth cleaning as planned. Every staff member was very friendly and the dentist was very concerned about the health of my teeth. This made me put aside the previous unhappiness.

The people here are some of the nicest and most considerate in the industry that Iβve met. I really appreciate coming here knowing that everything is going to run smoothly during my appointments. The staff are super friendly and approachable. I genuinely think this office is my favorite dental office Iβve been to. I always leave my appointments thinking that I need to leave a review for this place because of how great an experience I have, but I keep forgetting by the time I get home!

I'd never seen Dr. C He came highly recommended by a patient and his family who has been seeing him for over 20 years. My tooth fell out so it was a dental emergency. I couldn't believe that I got an appointment the next day. Everyone in the clinic was professional, and all smiles. he knew exactly what to do and did it efficiently. Dr. Calilung and Takara, at the front desk, were both friendly, knowledgeable and very eager to help me. Their customer service was excellent and I could tell they're good, honest people. That can sometimes be hard to find in the dental industry! I went in for a basic x-ray + cleaning and left with a better knowledge of my dental health.
I was told by my regular dentist to get a root canal and after today, there are now 2 other dentists who recommended I wait on it. Dr. Calilung, along with another dentist I visited, both said that my tooth is generally healthy and that a root canal would super invasive when not necessary. I appreciate the honesty and recommendation. I will absolutely be coming back for future cleanings!
