When I discovered Dental Esthetics Studio it was the best thing ever. I call it divine intervention finding DES on Google. I was hesitant to call because it's 37 miles from my home, but after leaving messages with nearby dentists, I decided to call anyway. I was self-conscious about my teeth and unhappy with other dentists' assessments. The day I called was a game-changer.

My experience here was great! Oftentimes going to the dentist could be a daunting task however Lo made things so much more relaxed. Dr. Slava is super knowledgeable and great start to long term relationship.

Strongly caution others before seeking orthodontic treatment here. Nurses are irresponsible and doctor is unavailable.
I began Spark aligner treatment to address alignment and protect against nighttime grinding. During week 3, the staff jammed week 8 tray on me. Of course it did not fit, and I expressed concern and discomfort. But I was sternly told that it was my fault for not wearing the trays enough, despite the fact that they got the wrong weeks.
This situation occurred TWICE more. The dentist did not interact with me at all during the treatment, until the last time it happened, I realized that I had to run as fast as I could for my teeth's sake. I discontinued treatment and seek care elsewhere.
Unfortunately, there was no refund offered and no meaningful acknowledgment of what went wrong. I'm not the confrontational type so I sucked it up and just thought of it as buying a lesson about choosing your dental providers carefully. Not pleasant.
If you care about your teeth, this is NOT the place you want to be.
Very thorough cleaning job and took the time to explain best practices for teeth health and suggested various solutions for TMJ issues. Also, made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Will be coming back, it was a great experience! (Even though going to the dentist is my least favorite thing to do lol)

I used to travel back to my hometown for dental care because I couldn't find a dentist in Atlanta proper that I felt comfortable with, given my dental history. That got expensive fast. Found Dental Esthetics through my insurance and checked them out. Had a couple cleanings and fillings—the team is great! Dr. Eslava is thorough and knowledgeable, and Elizabeth is my hygienist. They listened to my concerns and really got to know my needs. Worth the wait to find them. Bonus: I can walk from my house!

Really enjoyed my cleaning at Dental Esthetics Studio. They scheduled my cleaning the same day as my intake appointment. My hygienist, Eric, was kind and attentive to my questions. His calm demeanor helped me relax—I was nervous at first. Dr. Guevara performed my exam, explained everything, and kept asking if I was comfortable. I had a horrible experience here. The hygienist was rude to me during the visit. He put me in a completely prone position lying completely flat on my back (never had a hygienist do this before). I found the position very uncomfortable. When I asked to be moved to a better position he seemed annoyed, then moved me just a few degrees higher (claiming he could not see my teeth). This all seemed strange enough as every other dentist/hygienist I have seen repeatedly asks if the patient is comfortable during the cleaning. Then, towards the end of the cleaning he accused me of "almost biting him" and proceeded to yell at me an talk down to me like I was a child. He stormed out of the room. I was then told the dentist would come in to see me. I waited 30 more minutes in the chair before leaving (as I had already been there over an hour and had another appointment). With so many dentists to chose from, why put up with this?

Our hygienists strive to treat every patient with respect while providing the highest level of clinical care. The hygienist began your appointment earlier because you arrived ahead of schedule and he wanted to ensure you received the cleaning you requested. That said, I want to acknowledge your perception of his tone. While he has assured us that no disrespect was intended, we understand that how communication is received is just as important.
As a new patient, initial appointments are typically longer than subsequent visits, as they involve collecting diagnostic information, completing exams, and, when possible, providing same-day treatment. When scheduling, we do set the expectation that first-time visits may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. You were in the office and dental chair 1hour and 10 minutes inclusive of receiving a cleaning.
We understand that you may have other commitments following your appointment. However, in healthcare, appointment durations can be difficult to predict. Emergencies, changes in treatment needs, and schedule flow can all impact timing. For this reason, we generally recommend allowing a buffer of time after medical or dental appointments. Additionally, we will extend this same level of care and consideration to you when rendering your treatment.

Just an amazing dentist. Dr Eslava and her team have looked after me since I moved to the US from the UK. I’ve had whitening, a crown in my front teeth, a filling, wisdom teeth extraction, and other services and they have all been, without exception, excellent experiences. Best dentist I’ve ever been to - empathetic and professional in equal measure & great facilities. Happy to trust them with any of my dental care.

Found this calming dental office in Midtown Atlanta. Walked by it nearly every day and always peeked inside at the nice decor. I was way overdue for dental care but couldn't bring myself to go after some bad past experiences. Then one day a tooth broke in half while I was snacking—had no choice. Called them since they're just down the street, and they got me in the next day and accepted my insurance. Honestly, it was a relief. So glad I finally went.

Every team member at Dental Esthetics Studio is so kind and patient. They take their time to explain the service, and their processes when you have questions. They are also transparent with what you need and don’t need as far as treatments - which I appreciate so much! Their payment process is very seamless as well.
