Honestly, this is such a wonderful practice in Edison, NJ. The team here is genuinely caring—always positive and professional, and they really look out for my overall health and comfort. I've been coming for years, and now my whole family gets their dental cleanings and exams here too. Couldn't be happier with them!

But Nicole the hygienist and Dr. Ainsworth at Dental Plus in Edison were super friendly and genuine—no shaming, just keeping it real about my health. Honestly, it was the most pleasant dental experience I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend their family dentistry services!

Made an appointment here in Edison a couple months ago for pain, but the dentist misdiagnosed me and pushed for unnecessary surgeries. Went elsewhere for a second opinion and found out it was just an infection needing simple treatment. Ended up in pain for weeks because of this. Honestly, I'd avoid this place unless you want to be pressured into procedures you don't need.

After nearly ten years as a patient in Edison, my family and I are moving our care elsewhere. First, a shard of titanium was left in my son's tooth after a procedure and wasn't removed—pretty concerning. Second, my husband's appointment got canceled because we only found out about the full out-of-pocket cost on the day of service. Just lost confidence overall.

The staff here in Edison is quite good, but Dr. Ainsworth came off as pompous to us. They catastrophized my condition, and when we saw an oral surgeon, she said the referral reason was moot—the cyst was nothing. My husband did have an infection though. Plus, they're in-network with our insurance but billed us full price instead of helping resubmit. Not returning, especially if you have dental anxiety.

When I found this conveniently located office, I felt that it was diamond. I had nothing negative to say until today. I forgive and believe in second chances. However, when an office staff is blatantly rude over the phone to the point that they find the audacity to hang up the phone on you, that's not acceptable. I just had the worse phone interraction with one of the staff there, her tone of voice, her increased loudness in unbelievable, she spoke to me as if she was addressing a child. To add the icing to the cake, she violently and purposely hung up while I was speaking. I don't believe having a bad day can change someone's attitude, if we have this excuse then we all would be at each other's throat. I like Dr Ainsworth and so far I've had a very good experience with all the staff except for that person and I know her name. I just decide not to mention it because I'm not out to destroy anyone or get anyone reprimanded but hopefully she'll read this review and change her behavior, because it was very unnaceptable. It's almost like it was personal but we don't know each other like that.

Dr. Chertog was absolutely amazing! She performed all the work painlessly, throughly, and professionally! Quickly fixed a problem that other dentists had a hard time with! Very pleased with the A+++ service!

However, when I needed a treatment plan for extensive implant work to be submitted for a grant, weekly follow-ups over two months yielded no results. This led to an unexpected appointment with another dentist, where a consultation turned into the necessary but unplanned removal of my last four lower teeth. With numerous health issues and few teeth remaining, I’m well aware of how my body responds to anesthesia. My concerns were disregarded, resulting in numerous ineffective shots over the span of an hour and starting before full numbness set in. Throughout, the dentist expressed irritation and disbelief about my tolerance. Afterwards the treatment plan was swiftly handed to me, which left me puzzled by the two-month delay. Post-extraction issues, such as stitches coming out within 18 hours, cheek twitching, unusual discoloration, and other unexpected side effects, emerged. Insisting on a follow-up with Dr. Ainsworth, he dismissed my concerns as normal and attributed them to my own anxiety, reassuring me there was no muscle or nerve at the extraction site, which left me feeling like a nuisance. Despite my strong reluctance to continue with that dentist, I was met with a dismissive sigh and no other options. Having already invested over $2k here, seeking treatment elsewhere would not only incur additional costs but also prolong my dire situation. This highlights the frustrating cycle I often face, where seeking second opinions is impractical and expensive, revealing the harsh reality of healthcare where profit-driven priorities overshadow patient care, leaving me feeling trapped—or in this case, toothless. Dr. A was super friendly and dedicated, and Helen took time to explain everything about our dental health—made us feel informed and comfortable. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ainsworth for the last almost 20 years. He is the best and most gentle doctor that I’ve ever been to. The staff is wonderful, they make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend this office to anyone who’s looking for A great dentist.

The quality of the care is excellent but the billing department leaves a lot to be desired. They don't seem to consult with the doctor about what work was actually done and just I don't know, use their imagination? They were going to charge me for two crowns and doubted m when I said that only had one. I had to ask the doctor to straighten them out. Then, after I'd already paid in full I realized they charged me for a post when I didn't have one. They said they'd credit me the difference, but I don't have confidence that I'm being billed accurately.

I highly recommend this dental clinic. They are very friendly, welcoming and professional, with special mention to Dr. A. He is not only a wonderful dentist, he also has a heart of gold. He is not all about money and how much the insurance will cover. He goes above and beyond his duty as a dentist. His prime consideration is the comfort and safety of his patients. I love Dr. A!

1st visit was amazing! Walked in with a family of 5 ages 38 to 3. The staff was so friendly and patient with us. I liked how theral the nurses and doctor were with each of us. I highly recommend.

My family and I have been coming to Dental Plus for over 30 years. My kids even got their braces here and their teeth are perfect. Dental Plus never disappoints. Always make appointments available. Nicole is my hygienist and she has even come in on her day off to take care of her patients. She is a great! Indy (office manager) is very helpful and always takes care if there are any insurance issues.

I had my first visit at Dental Plus yesterday and was blown away by the courtesy from all their staff. They turned a nerve racking experience into a great one. Dr. Barker and her dental assistant were excellent so gentle, informative, and honest. Indy whom was in charge of the insurance/billing was amazing as well. I honestly felt she had my best interest in mind and was not just chasing money. Because of my experience with Dental Plus yesterday, I will be bringing my 5 year old son there for his first dental check up knowing he will be in caring hands. This staff is Amazing. Where do I start. Monique is so professional and is very knowledgeable over the phone makes you feel comfortable to schudule you're appointment. And the owner of the practice is amazing. He is so honest and personable. Has the highest integrity. Made me feel so comfortable. And the service rendered was perfect! And how could I not mention Indie she's amazing as well. Personable,professional and trustworthy. The dental hygienists are Amazing as well. Don't waste you're time going anywhere else but this place! Excellent service!!!!!
