Love that my dentist is right in my Long Beach neighborhood—clean office and friendly staff. Giving 4 stars because the appointment reminders were way too excessive; I got called and texted like 5 times in one day with threats to cancel. Also, wasn't told about an extra fee until it was time to pay. Little surprises like that aren't cool. Otherwise, this place is good for dental services in Long Beach, CA.

Went to get some work done in Long Beach, and the dentist and assistants did a great job with the actual dental work. But the women at the front desk had horrible attitudes—never greeted me, put me on hold multiple times without calling back, and acted like my paid service was a burden. Dealing with insurance paperwork was a hassle. Won't be back for dental implants or other services in Long Beach, CA.

Found this place through a co-worker who was getting braces herself and gave it 5 stars. Seriously, this place is bomb.com! Best dentist and orthodontist I've ever been to. Everyone's super nice and courteous—Jesus and Naomi are my favorites. My experience at Dentists of Bixby Knolls in Long Beach was mixed. The clinical treatment got done, but it fell short on communication and professionalism. Most of the dental assistants and front desk staff were friendly and courteous, though. During treatment planning, I was pushed toward higher-cost options a lot, which felt more sales-driven than patient-focused. Not the best for emergency dental service in Long Beach, CA, in my opinion.

The DMV, paying taxes……the dentist…..things nobody likes. Anxiety filled experiences. But the people at Bixby Knolls are next level. The entire staff is welcoming and caring. I usually don’t give reviews but these people deserve high praise. I strongly recommend giving them an opportunity. They are wonderful!

I recently completed a dental implant at this office, and I had a great experience from start to finish. The entire process took over 7 months and a few visits, and throughout it all, the team remained professional, patient, and supportive. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly, which immediately put me at ease.
The dentist was extremely thorough—he clearly explained the procedure and used visuals to walk me through each step.
The staff also went over the financial details with me, answering all my questions and making sure I understood the costs and payment options upfront. That level of transparency and care really stood out.

Switched to this dentist over 2 years ago and at the beginning the wait times were long, but now they are fully staffed and prompt when attending their patients. I love how careful the dentist explains what he will do. The office staff are overall well dressed, professional, and very friendly in comparison to other places I've been to. I enjoy coming to this place with my daughters. I do recommend for children, my daughter was terrified of dental work and she no longer cries. The equipment is up to date with technology and dental trends.

Absolutely amazing is the best way to describe my experience with Bixby knolls dentist. I spent hours calling around trying to find help for an dental emergency and right before giving up with being turned away dentist of Bixby knolls didn't give up on me they genuinely cared about my situation and was eager to help me find a solution what more can anyone ask for literally God sent and would recommend anyone.
This was my second visit to Dentist of Bixby Knolls. The first was about a month ago to get my teeth cleaned and X-rays done. Both appointments went smoothly. Dr. Tran started my dental filling and cavities. The only discomfort was the normal deadening process which wasn’t as bad as I remember from past dental work in other places. The process was a great experience. Prior to each procedure everything was explained thoroughly beforehand in a manner that was clear and understandable. Absolutely no complaints. The office staff was pleasant and welcoming. Dr. Tran was gentle and considerate. The front people are always kind and Jessica is always polite. Definitely recommend this office! I look forward to my next appointment!
