We've been bringing our daughter to Dentistry For Children in Vineland for about 5 years now. Dr. Rulnick has such a gentle way with kids, but he's also honest about what's going on with their teeth. When I first started, I needed some help learning how to properly care for her teeth at home, and he explained everything clearly without making me feel bad. Iris and Ruth are amazing too—Ruth really seems to care about the kids. Yeah, the office is a bit worn down—broken locks, dirty floors, peeling wallpaper—but honestly, the care is top-notch. My daughter adores Dr. Rulnick and insists she only sees him. If you need a pediatric dentist in Vineland, this is the place.

Honestly, it's time for Dr. Rulnick to retire. My son has Autism and he had zero patience with him. He kept trying to hold my son down while he was trying to get up, and was rough with his head and mouth. I noticed my son's lip was bleeding once we got to the car. My husband and I were trying to help by talking calmly, but Rulnick kept saying 'too many people talking.' We were just trying to comfort our son. Very disappointed with the lack of understanding for special needs kids at this Vineland pediatric dentist.

I have a autism daughter had dentist pro since long time we been many place no one able to taking care her problem then we got the information about this place and we been going their since my daughter was two year now she is eight had a procedure done by this Dr twice he did amazing job his staff can not believe how nice and helpful they are I am a nurse too but I can tell they are doing a great job then what I do very knowledgeable, intelligent Dr and staff they actually know how to taking care and deal with kids thank you so much team
My son had his first fillings today at Dentistry For Children in Vineland. Dr. Rulnick and his assistant were both amazing! I was nervous he might freak out, but he stayed calm the whole time thanks to their great bedside manner. Dr. Rulnick explained everything he was doing in a way my son could understand. Yesterday was my daughters first time to this dentist. Staff and dr was great and very professional. The only issue I had was I waited for an hour to been seen. Overall my daughter and I had a very good experience and she can't wait to go back.
My son had an appointment to get a cavity filled and had never had a needle. Dr. Rulnick was not only rude but became annoyed when my son he injected the novacaine and my son became upset and stated "Ugh I can't do this" then got up and walked out. Very unpleasant and unprofessional and then proceeded to bill me as if my son had the cavity addressed. We have since went to a different practice which is much better with a dentist who can actually console and comfort children.
My mother-in-law recommended Dr. Rulnick because my husband went to him as a kid—and he has a fantastic smile! Dr. Rulnick is awesome, super pleasant and easygoing. My boys have been coming since they were 3. My oldest is almost 12 now. Never any issues. Great staff, polite, office is clean and decorated nicely for kids. The Spiderman room is awesome to peek into!

Absolutely love everyone at this office in Vineland. My daughter gets super nervous about needles, and other places have been impatient with us. Dr. Rulnick was extremely patient, even when I was losing mine. They're great at distracting kids and making it fun. We were referred here for fillings and ended up switching entirely. I drive an hour to get here, but it's worth it. They send text reminders and follow up. Awesome office.

My boys are patients there no longer. I made an appt. for them which was 1 1/2 month waiting period. They called the day of the appt. to tell me their hygienist had an emergency. I rescheduled and had to wait another month for an appt. They just called me the day before this appt.and told me I needed to reschedule AGAIN due to their hygienist can't make it. They wanted to reschedule for another months time. I told them they just lost 2 patients and advised them to get another hygienist or make up a more believable excuse.
Our first time here. Wait was minimal, only long enough to finish my paperwork. I had both my daughters there and they worked on them simultaneously so we were in and out. Super nice staff
Brought both my girls in—my oldest was in full panic mode, thought the worst. But as soon as they called her back, she started rambling instructions. The staff and Dr. Rulnick were so patient, made her feel comfortable, and answered all my questions thoroughly. Every visit to Dentistry For Children in Vineland has been great. Sadly they could not schedule child in a timely matter. Manager Iris extremely unprofressional. I had to have my Insurance company intervene. We were given 2 possible dates for surgery 3 months in a row. Each month being put off further. No phone calls ever returned. Iris is too busy to prevent and schedule surgery patients for hospital, if they tell you you will need to go to Inspira vs their surgery center you will wait 3 plus months, possibly more. Unacceptable for a child to be treated this way. Iris was just as rude to my insurance provider as she was to myself. After months of the runaround we had to start over with another Dentist. We will not return. Beware.
You won't find a better pediatric dentist than Dr. Rulnick. My daughter has Angelman Syndrome and isn't a big fan of people being in her mouth. He is always patient and kind with her and makes sure to use extra suction due to her tendency to aspirate. He cares about her overall health and gives me great questions to ask the other doctors she sees. I will be very sad when she ages out and has to see an adult dentist.

I have been taking my children to see Dr Rulnick every 6 months for 14 years now, since my oldest was 2 years old! He and all of his staff have been wonderful with all 3 of my kids!

Dr. Rulnick is the best dentist ever! My son was extremely nervous about getting his tooth repaired, but Dr. Rulnick was so comforting. He talked with him, explained each step, and even let him feel how the tools would feel so nothing surprised him. He took his time and my child felt totally calm. Best children's dentist office EVER! We travel 45 minutes to get there because Dr. Rulnick and his staff are so amazing. My daughter (4 years old when she first sawDr. Rulnick) was terrified of going to the dentist (because of a bad experience with another dentist) until we finally found Dr. Rulnick. She loves to go now, and even calls him the magic dentist (because he helped her to not be afraid). Now I bring all three of my children here! I definitely recommend this office, especially if your child has had a prior bad experience and is afraid. The waiting area has lots of toys and books, even a little alcove with a video game set up!
