Needed full extractions top and bottom plus bone grafts on the bottom. Everything went smooth. Dr. Crupi and the whole team were great, made me feel welcome and worked around my schedule. Beware veterans, I was sent to this office through community care. Dr. Crupi wanted to do fillings, extract a wisdom tooth, and a crown. I said no to the extraction since it wasn't bothering me. Then he assigned a newer dentist with little experience. She was nice, but after two days of work I had cement stuck between my teeth and the crown was hurting the tooth above. Had to go back to get it fixed. Not a great experience in Venice.

Was a patient here for a couple years until they treated me so poorly I gave up. Thank goodness I switched to Tarpon Shores Dental, they're incredible. I recommend going there for primary dental care. Crupi may be great, but I never saw him.

I would give this office a zero if it was available. I am in need of a root canal on a molar and called the office to see if they did root canals on tooth #15. I was answered yes and also given a price of the root canal. I made an appointment and sent xrays from 2 different dentists who also had to refer me. I was told if the doctor determined that a root canal was needed it would be preformed that day. Sitting in the dental chair, the doctor came in and told me that the tooth was a molar and he stopped doing root canals on those teeth years ago. Why did they not tell me this over the phone and instead made me come into the office. I drove 20 minutes and waited 1 month to hear they could not perform the root canal. Unfortunately I will not be back.

If you're a veteran using community care, avoid this place. I've gotten the runaround from Dr. Crupi and the two office ladies for almost 6 months. Showed up for appointments only to be told paperwork wasn't right and I had to contact the VA myself. Then they'd say my infection from waiting prevented treatment, so I'd get antibiotics and steroids, then they'd schedule again. It's been a nightmare in Venice.

This review is just for Dr. Crupi's skills with implants, crowns, bone grafts, and sinus lifts. Saw him at his Venice office. I had two rounds of implants, four implants replacing five teeth, plus a sinus lift. Not simple procedures, my regular dentist didn't want to touch one of them. Dr. Crupi's talent and expertise are top-notch. As for the practice itself, that's a different review.

Horrible, the Front Office staff billed the incorrect insurance although I gave them my new insurance card. They never provided me with 1 statement what they billed me for. Then made up charges and disputed them reported me to collections. Mind you I am a medical biller since over 20 years. Horrible office ever since my Dentist retired and sold his practice to them
