Been coming here for 16 years. I drive 45 minutes because this is the only place my kids feel comfortable. When I tried finding a closer dentist, they were upset. So we keep coming—well worth the drive! When my daughter turned 18, they sent her a picture from her first visit and a $25 gift card. So thoughtful.

Wanted my son to be seen by Dr. Lin, because he was my former dentist when I was a child and i loved it. Been calling for about 2 weeks leaving voicemails but it’s like they let their phones ring. Quite disappointed he won’t be able to experience it. Finally answered after week 4 and we have appointment in 2 weeks.
My daughter has been a patient for 9 years. She was terrified at first, but they helped ease her fears, and now cleanings are no big deal. She just turned 18 and can't come anymore, but they sent her a lovely card, a picture from 9 years ago, and a gift card. I definitely recommend this pediatric dental office in Columbus.

We have had an superb experience with Dr. Lin and his staff. Brian started going to Dr. Lin when he was three years old. My sister is a dental hygienist, had substituted in Dr. Lin's office, and suggested we use Dr. Lin. Although he is located in Whitehall, and we live in New Albany, we did the drive because he was so good with Brian. We could've gone to a local dentist but Dr. Lin was very much worth the trip. He clearly put Brian's interests first. His advice/guidance was excellent. We were never disappointed. We kept using Dr. Lin until Brian turned 18 because we were having such an excellent experience with Dr. Lin. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lin and his staff without any reservation. Very nice guy and warm/supporting staff.

Truly the best dentist for kids! The staff is cheerful and wonderful, and Dr. Lin is a phenomenal pediatric dentist. My kids Jordan and Jayda are always happy to go to the dentist. They give honest recommendations for dental care. I wish Dr. Lin treated adults too!

I was a patient for the past 12 years an cannot think of a single bad experience. The wonderful scenes (beach, ocean, outer space) painted on the walls really distracts the kids from what's going on in their mouth lol. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Lin always had an answer to my most difficult questions. Dr Lin along with his staff have done superb job and I would recommend this office to everyone.
Dr. Lin has been my child's doctor for a couple of years now. I would recommend him. He is very kind. Best of all my child does not fear to go to the dentist. For me (especially my daughter) that is worth its weight in gold.
They always ask about my concerns and actually listen. The no-parents-in-the-treatment-room policy helped my kids learn to trust the dentist like a teacher, and they've become more independent. Great advice on braces last time, and no cavities! Staff are efficient and remember to ask if I need school excuse forms. Dr. Lin is kind and professional. I took my kids there for like 5 years. At 1st I was happy. But over time I couldn't figure out why every visit she would still have bad breath & cavities. In the beginning she fought brushing her teeth so much I had to restrain her while I brushed her teeth. After the 1st, 2nd, 3rd dental visit she greatly improved by brushing every morning and evening with supervision. Every visit I was told she has to brush better. She had cavities like every visit. On her 2nd to last visit, my older son overheard a conversation between my daughter and a dental hygienist. "Don't I get a toy this time?"(Daughter)"Do you think you deserve it?!"(staff,with anger).Needless to say I was upset. Next visit I insisted that I be allowed upstairs in the room with my daughter during her visit or I would leave cause they normally don't allow parents. It didn't bother me too much that they held her down,I know she is difficult(having ADHD, Tourettes).What bothered me was that he finished too quickly & left behind a lot of plaque/tartar.I asked "is that all".I was told that he only cleaned the adult teeth not the baby teeth & that the cavity in her baby tooth will hopefully fall out soon.What?! I'm not a dentist but even to a layperson that doesn't make sense. Cause it's "too much work" he won't do a complete job? Wouldn't the bad baby teeth negatively affect the adult teeth? I then realized that that has been happening every 6 month visit. So I never brought her back, I complained to the insurance company. I took her to Ocean Dental the next time. They examined & x-rayed her but she gave such a hard time they referred her to a dentist that do it under anesthesia. Dr Hines the smile dr. She was examined.I was devastated to learn that she needed surgery under anesthesia. They removed a few teeth, filled a few cavities & did a thorough & major cleaning/scraping. If I didn't tell the dentist that I have been taking her to the dentist every 6 months since she was like 2 years old she would have thought she was never seen by a dentist. I know this is very long but I don't want any other kids/parents to go thru this. For the last 2 years that she has been going to see Dr Anderson at the smiles dr,she has not gotten another cavity. The cleaning are much easier but thorough, I'm allowed to be in the back with her also. If you have a child with special needs or they just are very nervous for the dentist, find a place that lets you be with your child. If dr lin would have sent her to the specialist in the 1st place when he realized he couldn't handle her,doing a half a$$ed job,she never would have needed surgery. Also there is 1 dentist & a whole bunch of hygienist for all the kids. On any appt there can be like 10-15 families at a time like the day she didn't get a toy there was no school that day ,the waiting room was full 1st thing in the morning. I was told that appts were 10 minutes & he gave her a double slot cause of her "special needs". I don't think any other dentist is ever that quick.
They provide books, video games & toys on the wall for the children while they wait. It's a perk, not a requirement. They have tons of experience dealing with kids day in & day out for years. The staff is friendly and appreciative for your business & know what they're doing. Iv'e always gone in the back with my kids until ages 7 & 8. now they call you up for the consultation with your kid in the chair smiling watching nick Jr, prizes & free toothbrush in already in hand. A cool slide to go down after the appt. They piggyback the appts when you have more than 1 child. It's a family business & not a major corporation. That still means something.
Both my children ages 3 and 5 love going to the dentist! Dr. Lin and his associates makes it a great experience every time.

This office is amazing. Dr. Lin and his team have always been patient and wonderful with my kids. They take time to explain procedures and answer all my questions. They even helped find an orthodontist for my daughter. We've been patients since 2004, and my oldest is now pursuing dental assisting because of the positive experiences here. We started bringing our kids to Dr. Lin's pediatric dental office in Columbus after my oldest had a lot of anxiety at a general dentist. Dr. Lin and his staff really know how to handle kids of all ages and personalities. They explain everything to my children and make them feel super comfortable. Now my kids actually get excited about going to the dentist and ask when their next child teeth cleaning is. Couldn't be happier with the care here.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Lin is thorough and always takes his time and answers all questions. We have also been able to be seen immediately for emergency checkups. Kids love coming here and have been patients since 2007.
I really like this practice. They're not as holistic as I'd prefer, but they're close and work with my insurance. They respect my choices for my kids' care, do good work, and are friendly. The artwork in the rooms makes it less sterile and more comfortable for kids. Good pediatric dentist in Columbus overall.

The staff is great with kids, and they stick to the schedule amazingly well. Considering they deal with unpredictable little ones, Dr. Lin's office in Columbus is more on-time than many adult doctors I've been to. Our pediatrician recommended them, and we've been coming for 9 years for child teeth cleaning and checkups.

They are wonderful! I went here from age 3 to 18 and was never disappointed. Now I bring my own kids here—wouldn't take them anywhere else. The staff is super nice and funny, they make you feel right at home. I remember a nurse named Kelly who was amazing. If you want a pediatric dentist who cares about your child's well-being, this is the place. Way above 5 stars!
