Charged $200 for just an X-ray, then told I had 6 cavities—total cost almost $4k for fillings and cleaning. Went to another dentist and only had 1 cavity. He also noticed my chipped tooth from childhood that needed repair. Don't get scammed. Calling the BBB.

Update:
It's only been a little over 2 years and one of the crowns they gave me (that I likely didn't need) lifted and got infected, requiring me to get a root canal. My dentist is also watching the other crown because it too was not done well 🙃 please avoid these people at all costs.

I'm really not sure how they have so many high reviews as I don't believe they are conducting business honestly. I was told that I needed thousands of dollars of dental work. Thankfully, I didn't do all of it, however I did start some and was told that my insurance would cover half. My insurance decided not to cover any of it, as they said the work was not necessary. Even after the dentist office resubmitted the claim, the insurance only paid out less than $127 vs the thousands I paid, still choosing not to cover majority of the work. I did see another dentist for my next cleaning, and lo and behold I did not need any of the other work that they claimed, with the exception of 2 fillings. Given this, and the refusal of my insurance to cover, I highly doubt I needed the work that was done as well. It's a shame that we cannot trust our service providers. Lesson learned. Hopefully, I can help someone else avoid this headache.

Majorly disappointed with this location and the dentist. Called to find out my patient status was made 'inactive' without my permission, and I'm no longer allowed to book appointments. This came as a surprise after trying to book 3 appointments that were canceled without notice—just because I requested X-rays to share with my school after a pricey whitening treatment. My school covers procedures with dental X-rays.

Dr. Zerita Buchanan is the best dentist in the world! My dad is a dentist so I never had to go anywhere else and since this was my first experience somewhere else, I made sure to get the most Harvard qualified, Spelman grad, and Atlanta leader! She will be my doctor for life! So grateful for her and her awesome team.

I have had a decent amount of dental work done in my lifetime. Dr. Buchanan is the best dentist I have ever been to. She explains what she is doing to me exactly and talks to me throughout about my teeth. She is very clear on areas I should improve, etc. Her staff is also very lovely - everyone is kind, gentle and highly professional. I recommend her to all.
